Welcome New Members to the Living Earth Structures Community!
Aloha! You will find that is my typical greeting, since Im living out here in Hawaii now...I so glad you have taken the leap to join this online community of aspiring builders. I hope you find it helpful in your process of building your own Palletable Cobin. Id love to know where in the world you are from, if you can send that in the chats that would be great. We will be having our first live introduction chat together this Sunday,.9 am Hawaii Time,.12 PST ..

Aloha Miguel, I am pivoting into promoting my art, building a new website and social media stuff, and at the same time I am growing my counseling practice. All this is going to make me money to build my cobin! And so, I dont have time rn to participate in this online community. Im excited to create a project with you in the future on my land in Seaview. Let’s reconnect when you get back on island. I’m not sure if I’m on a monthly autopay thing for this course, please remove me if I am. Mahalo nui, Christy

Water catching roof?
I love love the living roof but am thinking of using the roof for catchment water collection. Is that something that works with the cobins? What material do you usually use?
Linseed oil
I had a friend who used linseed oil to seal the interior wood of his cabin here in Puna, and it molded very badly. So I a wondering if it’s the best sealant here…?
