New SUNO Update... Am I the Only One Underwhelmed?
Guys I don't know about you, but I'm not vibing with the new results from this updated version of SUNO at all. Nothing feels the way it used to, everything's kinda generic and I've already seen the same stuff on YouTube. What about you guys, are you liking it?

Wish they would increase the character limit on lyrics. My stuff tends to be pretty heavy with the lyrics, often reaching over 7k characters, and extending can be a challenge sometimes, plus the whole having to burn more credits to get a full song. And I wasn't impressed with the "wild" version thing. Should have named it "weird" or "waste of time (and eventually credits)".

Getting played by Suno...
Does anybody ever get the feeling like Suno is playing us for fools? I get so frustrated to the point of anger with Suno sometimes that I start to think that things are being done intentionally just to burn credits. Anybody ever have that annoying "live audience cheering and singing along" BS that doesn't go away no matter what you do to the prompt? Or that weird crap that sounds like a 56k modem connecting to AOL? I've gotten so pissed at suno ai to the point that I have prompted the ai to go.... um.... do sexual things with its backside. (Of course it did not make a song, which I think could have been epic) Might put suno back on the shelf and go see what other platforms have to offer.

Most recently, like right now actually, I'm trying to get a song rendered as a cappella. I've tried everything I can think of and no matter what Suno throws some kind of instrument in there or just totally screws the whole thing into digital disarray. And I know Suno can do it because I've made really good songs that were a cappella. But even after 30+ attempts it still does not cooperate. I have a hard time believing that an ai that has been so extensively trained and can put out such awesome music at times has this much difficulty understanding "only vocals" or "no audience cheering". And I wouldn't be saying anything if there wasn't money involved, but could you imagine what this would be like if we were at McDonald's and they messed up your order 30+ times in a row because they kept putting mustard on your burger? I don't feel like I should be getting charged for the "songs" that are not what I requested. And then the whole download limits are another piece of the "what am I really paying for pie?". Yall feel me?

@Jacob Roman it's more than just muting everything that isn't vocals. In a cappella the vocals are basically the instruments with the addition of snaps, clap, clicks and any other sound that the human body can make. But that brings up an off topic question: Is beat boxing just a form of a cappella?? Back to the topic, I was finally able to get it rendered, but damn, that took more credits than should have been necessary. I think with the emergence of more and more ai music generating sites coming online, hopefully the competition with benefit the consumer.

I totally agree with you on not putting "crap" out there. Sometimes I'll have to regenerate a song over 100 times, changing small things here and there, or even completely changing the genre, in order to get it sounding just right. Or, more often than not, I'll have to generate multiple extensions of a song due to Suno's 5000 character limit. Out of the almost 50 songs that I've released there has only been 1, maybe 2, that have come out as exceptional quality right off the first generation. And write your own lyrics. Don't know if I actually belong here
First off, let me say that I'm definitely not trying to offend anybody and I'm not against what yall do here. I think that this is an awesome community and the work that yall do, with the objective in mind, is truely amazing and on point. The prospect of the revenue possibilities is enticing by itself, not to mention being on the forefront of a tech wave. I've been thinking about this for the past few days and my heart is pulled in two directions. I know I can follow the instructions and produce a product that the consumer is asking for, but in the process I feel like I might start to lose the essence of what brought me here in the first place. I love music. Anybody who listens to my content will recognize that it is not done with just a few click and that real effort is put in to each and every upload. Every song that I have made came from real world experiences in my life. I can't help but feel that if I deviate from that, then I'll not be staying true to who I am as an artist. But on the flipside of that coin, $15k a month is life changing and definitely doable with this system. Idk. Has anybody else had this internal conflict also? I'm still really new to this ai music thing and only recently came across this community. Leave your comments and thoughts.

@Bryan Haines that it has been, for sure. What kind of music do you do? I started with pop and hip-hop, but switched to country/hip-hop fusion right before I started uploading to YouTube. Now I'm starting to integrate elements of rock, jazz, and even some gospel. I write most of the lyrics for my songs and use suno to create the music, with my guidance. I've just started messing around with the voice capture feature, but I think I need a better mic, that or some vocal training. Lol
