At a crossroads…
Hey, everyone; as I finished the pod and all the backlog of the weeks I wasn’t here for, I found that the branding and identity discussion, really cut right through me. Although I have kinda published in bulk recently music that I felt that, was technically good and mirrored all the things I love about certain genres, at the end of the day, it’s really not me, mainly because I don’t think I know who I am musically really, and with that being said, I’ve decided to take all of it down til I finish the semester, or at least till I feel confident enough that I found myself as an artist, and have taken the time to really develop that before I keep moving forward. I really believe this is the right move and am feeling hopeful about what that future holds in store. Sorry for the spam, thanks for reading, and also thanks for making this course Futuristic!

Heyyyy everyone, feel like I’m hopping on this super late but here we go. My name’s Christopher Santiago, but I go by Saint Titus. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and have always been a part of kind of a musically oriented family. I’ve been producing and writing for around 12 years, but always kind of shied away from publishing my work or even pursuing it seriously because of a series of really bad experiences I had early on. For the last 8 years I’ve been in the military moving here and there, and since it’s kind of an isolating business I’ve started to take music more seriously because it’s really the only thing that brings me a real sense of joy or fulfillment; especially on that 1st listen when a project really comes together. I’ve not really considered myself an artist in this regard for very long, and I’m still trying to find my own voice. It’s a little daunting, and the stuff I’ve been sitting on is kind of all over the place, essentially just interpretations of the music that colors my life. Although I feel like I am ever encroaching more on my own sense of self and sound, It’s definitely taxing at time. I guess that was the main reason I came to Skool, well that and branding/filming/marketing/social media; I have no clue what I’m doing in all of those areas. It’s truly a nightmare 😂 Anyway, thanks for reading this to those who made it this far, I look forward to growing with all you ❤️

Depends on if you’re working on releasing through a distribution company or not. My experience without distributors is pretty limited, but usually, because usually they handle that on their end for the most part.
