@Douglas Riggins This really has been my biggest block with making progress. I like to understand things fully and try to make things golden, near perfect, before putting myself out there. I'm getting better at not doing that, but I've had to actively catch myself doing it.

Status update: Greetings everyone! Mixed results on my end as I got sidetracked by Github, despite being told not to. I finished over half of the DevPod module, and I have come to love and appreciate it and I think that will continue into the weekend when I finished it. I also revamped my CV, but I have not yet sent it out to Jobs. That will start tomorrow morning. I did post on LinkedIn once and have a blog post. One is better than none, but it's not two. Goal 1: Partial Goal 2: Partial Goal 3: Partial My biggest win of the week was that I made my Github really presentable and reflective of my interests. I'm really proud of it and plan on making improvements alongside my Substance, LinkedIn, and website (once published). Special thanks to @Stefan Van den berg for checking in on my progress and @Sarhan Patel for the constant encouragement. Accountability helps!
Favorite programming language?
Hello friends, What is your favorite programming language? Why?

I've always had a soft spot for C++. I started with C#, then moved over to C++ and kept coming back to it from Java when I was in college. I still find myself coming back to it over Python, which is the favorite nowadays it seems. All good languages, but always default to C++ until I'm forced not to haha
Thoughts about the Paid DEVOPS Community after 3 days
So, i recently joined the community mainly for the Homelab , kubernetes courses but boy , i overlooked the community aspect, Mischa and Sammy are very passionate about this project They both messaged me, we're talking about custom messages (not some ai generated bullshit), i asked all my questions and they responded without judgement or something , you can clearly see that they are passionnate about what they do and they care about their members 2 Days later, i happen to get an interview for a senior cloud engineering Job and there is an interview with live coding ( without the use of chatGPT ) , i kindly asked for mischa if i'm allowed to post to seek out help, he said that the community is made for that, after making the post, mischa Commented with a 20min long Video, in where he gave advice, resources to practise and most importantly he walked me through the process of live coding. In short, you clearly see how the community aspect is very powerful, i'm really excited to be a part of this community and i'm looking forward to learning what Mischa and Sammy teach

This place does not seem like a "normal" place to be, and that's good!

I'm very excited to be here and can't wait to get fully into the DevOps world. My main OS is Manjaro Linux and, per this content, I'm currently running a Kubernetes cluster from a VM cluster, or doing my best that is! Looking forward to learning with you all.

I am currently a Cloud Engineer where I work, but I'm looking to get into SME/DevOps role as quickly as possible since that is where my passion is.
