Its not often I get a chance to go to work without high-viz orange and steel toed boots on. Today was day 1 (of 5) of in classroom training. Im in class with a crew that i was the foreman of for years. They all know who I am, but only my actual friends recognized me... until I spoke. Hard to blame them. Its been a couple years, and the (pre RMRS) guy on the right is who they last saw. The fit: Black chinos, black leather belt, black leather flat cap, black boat shoes, purple cashmere v-neck, white polo, wool coat, purple watch strap, and a smart ring. SOTD was BiR Extradose (when I wear purple, lavender seems like a perfect fit.)

The battery on my Hamilton Bolton quit yesterday morning so this morning meant a trip to Alexander’s Jewelers for it to be replaced. As it was the first battery to be replaced since I bought the watch there, Alexander’s replaced it for free. After that I went with Robin to The Columbus Guitar Society meeting. Today’s outfit was casual starting with a white shirt with light blue stripes, a blue and red argyle sweater vest, charcoal trousers, black derbies, a vintage red and blue bow tie, a blue light jacket and a dark blue flatcap with light blue pin stripes.
