Software Q&A Session
Shoutout to @Rico Russo for the informative discussion today! To anyone that has had questions regarding any of the software: Algos, ALM, etc. RICO is the man! Highly recommend attending the next Q&A if you have questions or just want to listen in. Thanks!
Algo Demo Account
Hey All, Looking for any insight or advice. I set up the Tradovate account, linked ALM, and set up the demo for the algos per the video using the trial templates. Made sure everything in ALM that is supposed to be on is turned "on" and clicked submit for each template. However, none of the Algos took any trades today, per my account reports in Tradovate. Is there a way I can verify that the accounts (ALM and Tradovate) are linked properly and the Algos are active? Once I click submit in ALM I get the confirmation pop up, but is there an account settings tab or someway to see that everything is active? I just set all of this up last night, so it may be possible there were no trades today per the presets of the demo algos. Thanks in advance!

@Tim Harwick got it going today, finally! Since my Tradovate free trial had ended I needed to fund the account to get access to the live market data. Threw $20 in there to get it going. Algos +$671 for the day! Can’t wait to see how they do the rest of the week

@Tim Harwick yes I’m using the simulation trading on the free account. I had to put some funds in the account for it to allow access to the CME live data.
🗺️Introducing the world's best trade copier
If you're trading and scaling multiple prop firms and/or funded accounts this is a no brainer. https://echotrader.io/?source=investceo - Copy trades across any customizable risk size you want - Can be copied across multiple accounts and prop firms - Can be used on TradingView and mobile so you don't have to change your trading - Doubles as a trade journal with valuable metrics Note - this is not an algo, it's a copier for your manual trading (so obviously don't get it until you're actually trading multiple prop accounts yourself)...and it's the best there is. https://app.echotrader.io/?source=investceo

Feeling Frustrated, Any Advice?
Hey all! First off, I’d like to say thanks to this group for being positive and supportive to each other. Also thank you to Kyle for putting all of this together to give us the opportunity to better our lives! I have gone through the courses and have really taken my time to digest all of the lessons. I started paper trading last week and so far have had more failures than successful trades. Based on what I have interpreted from the lessons, I set up my trading blocks accordingly, then after I execute my trade, almost every time the market reverses and my trade hits the stop loss. Sometimes quickly, sometimes in an hour or so. I have attached to this post a common example of what happens to me. In the pic I re-entered the trade scenario so you can see where my stop loss and take profit values were. This trade executed and then hit my stop loss shortly thereafter. I feel like I’m missing something. I’m requesting any constructive criticism or advice on how to improve my odds of winning or if anyone sees anything I’m doing wrong, please share! Looking to gain confidence so I can trade live with my own small self-funded account and work towards qualifying for the larger funded accounts. Thanks in advance!!

I rewatched a few of the lessons, then reviewed what I did here. I believe I have my demand block in the wrong spot in this example. Should have been on the previous red candle to the left. Then set my alert for re-entry at the top of that block. This would have allowed me to jump in on the red candle I have my supply block drawn around in my example, instead. The following 2 or 3 green candles would have hit my profit target. Sometimes we learn more from our mistakes than our successes! Still would appreciate any feedback or advice. Thanks all!!
