Happy Friday! Take a photo of how your day is progressing so far
It's Friday! Even though I'm lucky enough to choose however I spend each day. I still quite like Fridays because weekend is time dedicated to my friends and family and it's gorgeous weather out there, so I reckon a swim in the sea and social barbecue is definitely on the cards. So for me Friday is all about just wrapping up all the loose ends and finishing jobs from the week ready to start afresh on Monday morning. I noticed it was really cool outside and that tree stump was in shade so I took the opportunity to have a little digging session while I my subconscious can process and prioritise the days tasks for me. Suddenly, the mammoth task of removing this tree stump has become so easy because it can be like a big business where it's easy to get overwhelmed, thinking of trying to do everything all at once, or not knowing where to start. It's now broken down into manageable chunks, So with the nip of a battery chainsaw I'll be able to pop through each one and lift it out. I've been out there every day this week, mindfully enjoying just an hour or so exposing a little more root each day. I compare this to showing up everyday and doing one step towards your main business goal everyday. I talk more about chunking down tasks in the very first module of my classroom. So let me see how your day is progressing. Whatever you're doing, take a pic or two right now, share it below and write anything you like.

an excavator could make quick work of the tree removal...
I Need Your Advice: Help Me Build Our Next Step
Last night I sat down for a raw strategy session with Goose Dunlavey to pull apart my coaching offer and pricing. If you know me, you know I don't believe in generic "blueprints". I believe every business requires a specific action plan based on your unique skills and resources. Normally, my 1:1 coaching rate is ยฃ300 ($400) an hour. But I want to package my brain, my problem-solving, and my experience into an offer that actually fits our "Start a Business with No Money" ethos, while still giving you the high-level mentorship you need to break through your roadblocks. I originally had a plan to launch a $97 and $297 tier. But Goose told me that multiple offers can cut conversions in HALF (He knows Skool a lot better than me). He challenged me to drop the tiers entirely and offer a single, flat-rate $600/month mastermind strictly capped at 20 people to ensure that I am able and willing to deliver the best attention you deserve, so everyone gets massive results. Now, I'm torn... You are the Builders of this community, and you are the heartbeat of this clubhouse. I don't want to guess what you need, so I'm asking you directly. If you were to upgrade to get more direct help from me, which of these three models would you most likely sign up for, and why? These are just EXAMPLES of what the final offer/s could look like: (Please be brutally honest. I won't hold you to it, and nobody is pulling out a credit card today! I just genuinely value your opinion and want to create an offer that works for us all!) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Option 1: The "Hot Seat" Group Tier ($97 / month) - The Vibe: Cheaper, larger group setting where you learn from others' challenges. - What you get: Weekly live focus group sessions where we do "Business Teardowns". You might get a quick 5-10 minute hot seat to let my ADHD-powered brain solve your immediate problem. Plus, you get full access to my paid Substack vault, the resource library, and a 20% discount if you ever want to book a 1:1 call with me.

Are you keeping this community freemium? You could model what @David Iya did. Freemium feeder community to a tier paid community with more access to coaching for those who can afford to pay for it.
This is seriously not how I planned to start my Wednesday! ๐Ÿ˜–
Why is it always on the days when you have deadlines, calls, and so many things to do.. I'd literally only just got the computer set up perfectly after It got hacked in March. I was struggling today before I even turned the computer on ๐Ÿซฃ I hope you're having a much more productive day and if you're not then know you're not alone!!

Windows 11? System restore is bad but better than the blue screen of death (hard drive failure). I have older apple products and they will have HDD failure too (had that on a macbook pro). Better off getting a slightly newer computer and put Linux on it. I have heard a lot less problems running that and better privacy protection.

I went to a business speaker panel last week and something stuck with me. All 4 entrepreneurs on stage said sometimes it takes 9 "no's" to get a "yes". For all of you out there in the "no" phase, there's hope for a "yes" keep going. โค๏ธ

rejection is redirection... no is just next opportunity. now if you read Chris Voss's book on negotiation, there is a way to leverage no's in your favor by re-framing the conversation.
Slight Pivot Legacy Training is taking a back seat
After the two youtube videos and two discussions with like minded skoolers, I am looking of slightly pivoting to do more of 1:1 coaching around Humility. Why? It is a noticeable for those quite similar to me - for those who have had success gone to their heads and due to that have lost touch of where they came from or what they are building. As they are building their community or working with newer connections there is pushback or compartmentalization of that everyone must fit into a binary/dualist box. Either they know/don't know or they lack or have. With little consideration of what is in the middle. Having come up in a round about way in both conversations and I even mentioned in my too long 2nd youtube video without really realizing that - that problem needs to be addressed. I would be thinking of using this coaching as a round about way to get cash flow going and by relying on a similar ICP as the legacy training - it could be a future upsell to help out more/contribute more within their local community and doing with effect ways of giving back. Presently working on the document to figure out everything and then creation of the supporting documents needed to do so.

The weather on the west coast has been uncooperative the last few days. Rained on Thursday which we needed, I got too busy Friday and now it is too Windy 14-24km/h gusts to record outside. I want to record my next video and all but really do not want annoying wind noise lol.
