What’s showing up for you?
What is your body communicating to you?
As a somatic practitioner and guide, I’ve witnessed through countless of sessions how disconnected many of us have become from the language of our bodies. We live in a culture that rewards thinking, analyzing and intellectualizing. We’re taught to override exhaustion, suppress emotion and push through discomfort. Over time, we become so identified with the mind that we lose our ability to feel. Yet, the body is always communicating. Whether it's the tension in your shoulders, the tightness in your chest, the knot in your stomach, the fatigue you can’t seem to shake, the illness you've been dealing with, all of it is information that ultimately connects us back to an emotional and energetic imprint. Your body carries an intelligence that exists beneath conscious thought. It remembers what the mind has forgotten, reveals what you may be avoiding and often senses what is aligned long before you can explain it logically. This is why feeling is such an essential part of healing. When we allow ourselves to feel, we begin restoring communication with the deeper intelligence that lives within us. And breath is the foundation of this return. Your breath forms a bridge between the conscious and unconscious, the mind and body, the physical and emotional. It helps you move out of mental overactivity and into direct relationship with what is happening inside you. Through the breath, suppressed emotions can begin to surface. The nervous system can soften out survival and the body can release what it has been holding. As a result, you become present enough to hear the subtle signals that were once drowned out by the noise of the mind. I believe this is one of the great evolutionary journeys we are all here to make: the movement from living through the intelligence of the mind alone into the deeper intelligence of the heart and body. The mind remains an extraordinary tool, but it was never meant to lead us. When the mind becomes connected to the heart, rooted in the body and guided by what we genuinely feel, we begin making choices from a deeper place of coherence.

Living With an Open Heart in a Closed World
It's so easy to live with a closed heart because closing is one of the ways we learn to protect ourselves. When we have been hurt, betrayed, rejected, or disappointed, we build walls and layers around our heart. Those walls can give us a sense of safety and control, but over time they may also separate us from the love, intimacy, and aliveness we truly desire. Our deeper mission is not to avoid hurt, nor to pretend that our wounds never happened, but to awaken the intelligence of the heart; the deepest wisdom that can hold both our pain and our love without being overcome by either. Living with an open heart doesn't mean abandoning our boundaries or allowing others to mistreat us. It means refusing to let what happened to us determine the depth of love we are willing to embody. It is the courageous choice to remain tender without becoming powerless, discerning without becoming guarded, and compassionate without losing ourselves. When we learn to live from this place, even among the echoes of what we have endured, we offer ourselves the greatest gift: the freedom to be fully alive. We no longer allow the past to close the door on the present. And in offering the world a heart that has been wounded yet still chooses love, we give others permission to soften, heal, and remember their own wholeness. An open heart becomes both our liberation and our offering. If you want to dive deeper into this, I just released a new podcast episode which includes a 15-minute heart opening breathwork session. LISTEN TO THE PODCAST And for those of you who want experience the deepest layers of this transformation, we just kicked off our journey through the Gene Keys Venus Sequence which is all about healing the core wounds that block you from living with an open heart. Right now, you can become a premium inner circle member for just $44/mo. This is by far the greatest gift you could give yourself.
