I pray today, no matter the status of our marriages, that we find our true identity in Christ, not in our own knowledge but in that of the Holy Spirit. It's easy to just say I'm loved by Christ; it's different when you really allow the Holy Spirit to show you and to know. Be still and know that I am God. It's the fear and the love of the Father; the agape love. Lord, show these ladies and me today and every day how loved we are by you, in Jesus mighty name, Amen Scripture 1 – God’s Unfailing Love "The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.’" — Jeremiah 31:3 Ladies, this is the kind of love that doesn’t depend on our performance, beauty, or status. It’s a love that holds us on our best days and our worst days. Scripture 2 – Our Identity in Love "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." — Proverbs 31:25 You are not defined by your relationship status, your past, or your mistakes. While I was resting, I soaked in worship music, which got me thinking...🎵 What's your favorite worship song of all time, or one that made you feel closer to the Lord in a time of need? Ladies, for real, I'm not feeling well today. 🤧🤒Reading Psalms 91 over myself, and verse 4 stuck out. Ps 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and buckler. Upon researching, it says the buckler is a round shield used for close-contact fighting. A shield is a much larger one that you dig into the ground and hide behind when spears, arrows, or rocks are being launched at you in a bigger attack. Ladies💮, we don’t wrestle with flesh & blood but against evil forces, so standing on/in the truth of God creates a protective shield. Knowing who we are in our identity in God is significant and standing firm in it. For you are Daughters of the Most High King! Thank you, Lord, for Psalm 91. Such a wonderful chapter to pray over yourself and family daily, but also in a time of need. 🙏⚔️🛡️🩸 ✝️Any bible verses that are your go-to that you would like to share?
