Jaw Journey
A few days went by and I love doing the jaw movements. I noticed, that gentle jaw movements in the mornings are helping me to soften my neck after I clenched/pressed at night. Now I‘m looking forward on trying the inside mouth massage, which will be my next step. What I also noticed is, that I really like your „aura“ of calmness which for me feels like some kind of co-regulation while listening to the videos. And I like your body language, while talking. 😊

Why am I not taking action?
“I already know what to do.” And the answer is not lack of knowledge. It’s the nervous system. When you’ve experienced stress or trauma, your body is not focused on growth. It’s focused on survival. 👉 So instead of moving forward, the body can go into: freeze avoidance overthinking numbing And from the outside, it looks like: procrastination lack of motivationinconsistency But internally… the system is trying to stay safe. 👉 And here is the paradox: You need to take action to change your life… but taking action can feel unsafe. So what do we do? We don’t force big change. We start small. One step. One breath. One moment of showing up. Because action is not something you wait for. Action is something you create. And every small step teaches your body: it’s safe to move it’s safe to try it’s safe to change You don’t need to feel ready. You need to be willing. SHARE 👇 what are you trying today?

Thank you for that kind reminder. I often judged myself for not having the „motivationinconsistency“. But I understand my body better and better and got clarity to give my body (and me hahaha 😅) what I need, to calm down my nervous system. Starting the Jaw Journey is like a game changer for me. I noticed, I‘m clenching my jaw at night before, but I never had the idea to relax it in a consistent way. In the last days I massaged and moved my jaw and it had a good reaction on my neck tension. It softens while working on my jaw. I always worked on my shoulder and neck, where the tension was painful and more aware than in my jaw. 😆 Working on the jaw has a much better effect. 🙏🏻 Love it, doing the journey with you, Zina and of course with all the other open minded people here, who are on their way like me. ❣️
Jaw notice
Greatful for the first step jaw notice and relax. I noticed clenching after I woke up. Will do a jaw relaxiation after waking up. Also noticed a little „sound“ in my left jaw joint when moving the jaw to the right. Still it‘s hard to me to focus on small steps and the consistency. It‘s like I want to do it all at once and have a problem to calm down and just listen gently to my body. 😆

DAY 5- WHAT DOES MY BODY NEED?
HURRAY — LAST DAY 🎉 We made it. You’ve noticed your body. You’ve noticed your breath. You’ve noticed your thoughts. You’ve noticed your reactions. And now we arrive at the most important question: What does my body need? 👉 Why This Matters Awareness is powerful. But awareness without response… keeps you observing, not changing. 👉 Today we begin to build something deeper: Self-trust. 👉 Whatever you feel… respond with something simple: 👉 If tight → move gently 👉 If restless → slow down 👉 If heavy → add small movement 👉 If anxious → long exhale 👉 If closed → soften the face 👉 If holding → sigh or sound Even 1–2 minutes is enough. This is the shift: From controlling the body → to listening to the body → to trusting the body Your body has been speaking to you all along. Now you are learning how to listen. And this is just the beginning. ✨✨✨

Thank you Zina, for this wonderful 5-day journey! I‘ll practice noticing further and will build up a routine with responses. Before I wasn‘t able to see clearly, what my body needs and now I have tools, to work on that process. I also noticed, that I create tension during the night and tension is strong after I woke up. I have no clue how I can respond to that. Is there a recommendation to adress it?
