@Adrian Hall Tons!!!! The question is, in my opinion, what do you want to achieve. I’m not a full time author…. So my book is not my main source of income but a tool to build authority. Means the content, cover, title,.. can be whatever I want it to be without a publishing house putting limitations on me… I can also publish as many revisions and special editions as I want plus Amazon prints author copies for 3 bucks or less… That’s what I need… Unfortunately (!) I’m sacrificing the marketing pull of a publishing house (which is ok… I love speed and be flexible). I agree with you what works for me might not work for someone with different needs!

I need some advice

What's the best video editing software for idiots? I have reasonable technical competence (or so I tell myself). I had a play with Adobe Premiere but it goes waaay beyond what I want to do. (Same we Photoshop is waaay beyond 99% of my uses). Is there like a Canva for video that's so simple and intuitive even a 💩- for -🧠 like me can use it?

I use Descript for pretty much anything. From editing over transcribing to making stuff fancy schmanzy… Super easy to fix poo poos and filler words, too. You just upload the raw footage, tell AI (called Underlord) what to do and there you go…

For reels I’m using Caption (iOS app). Perfect for short form content but sucks for long form… @Adrian Hall

When I used to shoot daily reels, I used AI to give me ideas and a few bullets... From there I just winged it.... thinking about it - I probably should start doing it again :-)
