Legato/ Speed work exercise
Took a bit of time to get to this speed. Main thing is it could be smoother/ more efficient still, I really need to work more on the technique you showed on the way down (using my finger instead of the pick). But I’ll keep working on it!

Good stuff. You're on your way to picking up the speed. And you're right about the picking. I think there's room for improvement there. But overall, solid work Riley!
Second part to original idea based on Let’s Stay Together (Al Green) Chords
I played the first part through as well with some minor changes, then added the second part. Was trying to make it a bit different than the rest but still in the same theme/ with some open strings in the chords and extended chords as well.

I liked the addition of the pinky slide at 0:37. With these effects it almost sounds like a slow song by The Smiths. Nicely done :)
Clementine by Elliott Smith 🎸
Absolutely loved this song since the day i heard it. And it's a lot of fun to play on the guitar as well. Hope this inspires you to learn something new this weekend :)

@Clemens Hackmack I haven't looked into exactly how the tuning relates to the standard one. But the bottom is definitely a power chord. And just strumming the open strings makes for a beautiful extended chord. And i like that idea. I'm not that well versed with alternate tunings. But i know @Nikola Gugoski has tried out quite a few. Do you want to make a post about it Clem?

@Lucas Bryars Yes, they're in there. Not planning on doing anything classical for the time being.
Haven't looped in a while
Wanted to practice my timing and play something live without any overdubs, and what’s better for that than a looper pedal? 😁 If your timing is bad, the looper will expose you instantly. How do you usually practice timing and rhythm?

Reminds me of that Brontide video you showed me a while back. Very cool 🤘
Gibson Garage
Couple of pics visiting the Gibson Garage in London. Wish I could have bought one, but alas….

@Nikola Gugoski @Clemens Hackmack Right, you guys bring up a good point here. Perhaps we'll get self-serviced guitar stores instead lol. Which guitar did you buy online Nikola?

@Nikola Gugoski Ah i see. It sucks when that happens. It reminds me of my Ibanez. I bought it when i was 14 and was probably too inexperienced to know what to look for in a guitar. It ended up being one of my worst guitars because of the endless intonation issues. From that day onward i've had a love for guitars that just work and stay reliable. Nothing better than that.
