Should photographers require deposits up front?
From personal experience Iโ€™ve noticed most clients donโ€™t even want to work with you when thereโ€™s a deposit fee, but you make sure that the ones who do pay are high quality. What you you guys personally do?

Most of the time I require payment in full in advance, unless it is a larger or more complex project. But yes, a deposit - always.
Do Cellphone produce better images?
Why do modern cellphone cameras seem to create better images on a quality digital cameras? What is the secret?

Actually, they can - where you want to quickly post a web quality image instantly and share. However, if you want a printable sized image, or higher quality resolution dynamic range, it is very limited. So yes! for taking a quick picture of grandpa eating his cake!
The leaves are falling where I am...
So normally I do landscape/cityscape photos, super wide scenes, etc. But sometimes I like to have a bit of fun indoors, when it is cold and wet outside. I found this leaf just outside my home only a few steps away. I had an LED light panel so I placed the leaf on top of the light panel, to back-light it, and used a 1x macro lens to capture the leaf. Originally the background was white but I thought it would stand out more with a black background. What do you think? I walk by these every day, but sometimes you have to look at the small things to see how incredible they are when blown up! The second photo is what it looked like out of the camera, before any processing.

I don't think AI is a threat at all. I see it as a "tool" that can help remove photographic issues/distractions etc. Well, that is, for now.. lol, since the overall resolution is very very low. The one thing that AI cannot do is create photos of something that doesn't already exist on the internet. For example, you cannot get AI to take wedding photos... of the actual events that transpire during wedding. It cannot make up something that doesn't exist yet. Or if I client asks you take a photo of a specific scene - like their building, or interior with staff doing their thing - that is something AI wouldn't be able to come up with that. AI can only come up with images based on what has existed in the past - not what is current. think about it, if a company wants you take event photos of a future event, how could AI come up with that?
