Monday night grinds
Hello friends. Been thinking a lot about social media and how it’s evolving in a daily basis. I think the future of advertising will be Ai (LLM models suggesting products) and personal brands. You know… I have to admit that my algorithm is currently all “I quit my job, I got laid off, etc etc etc” and I’d be lying if I wasn’t comparing my content to other creators. The algorithm does this for a reason and it’s honestly why I felt I was stuck. Trying to make too much of what others are. The reality is… being unique and telling your story is what wins right now. I went in and reset the algorithm today and it was a breath of fresh air. I wanted to remind all of you that I laid out my entire social media strategy that got me over 50k followers between Tik tok and IG. By no means is this the “end all be all” strategy” but it’s what I find works for most creators especially if you’re just starting out. Here’s the link: https://www.skool.com/escape-corporate-3087/classroom/dd058d99 As always, this and other courses I have laid out are under the “classroom” tab here in Skool
What would you find valuable?
I am so grateful to have you all in this community and want to bring you the most value as you go through your career transition. As I am about to take some time away to plan and film more content, I would love to know what you all want more of! Vote below!

@Ashley Isrow got you!
What I would do if I wanted to make $200-$1000 TODAY
Every single person in this community spent years inside a system full of inefficiency. You watched companies spend $50,000 on a consultant to solve something a spreadsheet could fix. You sat in a meeting where someone manually pulled a report that should have been automated three years ago. You watched customers wait on hold, get lost in a phone tree, or never get called back at all. You saw the gap. You just did not know you could get paid to close it. Here is the thing about money: it flows like water. It always moves toward whoever solves the problem that is blocking it. The business that answers the customer at 10pm gets paid. The one that does not loses the customer forever. That gap between the problem and the solution is where income lives. You do not need to go build something complicated. You need to find one small problem that costs a real business real money every single day, and put yourself in front of it. Right now one of the most overlooked and most solvable problems for local small businesses is this: customers visit their website after hours, have a question, and get nothing back. So they leave. A dentist, a salon, a contractor, a law firm. Same story everywhere. They are losing leads they will never know about. An AI chatbot fixes this. And you can build one using a free tool called Tidio in under two hours with zero coding experience. I put together a complete step by step blueprint in the classroom. Every click is explained. No guessing, no assumed knowledge. It walks you through building the demo, finding the businesses, the exact message to send, what to say on the call, how to close it, and what to charge. The target is $200 to $1,000 today. Go grab it. Then come back here and tell the community what business type you are going after first.

Leaving town for a few days.
Not a vacation. Still working. But I needed to break the loop. There is actual science behind this. When you live within the same 2 mile radius, your brain stops generating new input. Same commute, same desk, same four walls, same coffee shop. Your nervous system reads it as safe and familiar and it stops paying attention. Neurologically, you go on autopilot. And autopilot is the enemy of clarity. Studies on creativity and cognition consistently show that novel environments force your brain to wake back up. New sights, sounds, and stimuli activate parts of your mind that routine quietly shuts off. It is why your best ideas rarely come at your desk. For people trying to escape corporate and build something new, this is especially dangerous. You are trying to think differently while living exactly the same life that built the old thinking. The environment is working against you. I am heading out to recalibrate. Still building Escape Corporate. Still in it. But I need fresh air in my brain, not just my lungs. Can anyone relate? Have you ever noticed that your thinking gets sharper the moment you change your surroundings, even just for a day or two? Drop it below.

@Tad Wolfe Well said Tad!
I need something from you guys today: Easter
Happy Easter! 🐣 If you celebrate, I hope it’s a great one. Take some time today to actually be with the people you love. Something hit me recently. Over the last 6+ years of grinding, I let a lot of relationships slip. Friends. Extended family. I told myself I had reasons. Things they posted. Life moving in different directions. Whatever. But after 3+ months removed from the daily grind, the truth got clear: most of those people weren’t drifting because of something they did. They were just fighting their own battles. Sobriety. Career stuff. Divorce. The same weight we all carry. Life is short. The last thing I want is to look back at 40 years of work and realize I traded the people that mattered most for a calendar full of meetings. So here’s what I’m asking of you today. Think of the person who just came to mind. Call them. Not to say “happy Easter” but to say “hey, I’ve been thinking about you and I want to stay in better touch.” That’s it. You’ll be surprised how much lighter you feel after. The work will be there tomorrow. Today just go be a human.

@Mark Speltz you said it Mark. It’s almost like the more tech we get to stay connected, the more the algorithms pull us from personal connection. Glad we are able to realize this now vs at the end of the road
