@Sinan Rizvic ya man I hear ya on a better screening process, that’s good advice. I’ve been self employed running companies for most of my life but this is a new venture so I’m really trying to pull all the work I can to get the ball rolling. My company has only officially been open for business for 6 weeks so I’ve really been perusing every lead aggressively. I had a similar situation with a Christian non-profit organization a month ago that had ideas but really no clue what direction they wanted to go for several projects. I was able to navigate the situation and land all the work in phases but it definitely underlined the fact that I need a crystal clear structure for creative development. @Mitch Mandell They sign a contract that outlines all of that very clearly before any work starts. The language is very clear that I don’t provide multiple finished version of the same product they get to choose from. Creative decisions need to be made during the initial submission/review/revisions process. Anyway it’s like any business, some clients are gonna be more difficult than others. I’ve had a few great ones already that were easy to work with and have already signalled that they will be repeat customers. I look forward to having enough consistent work that I can be a bit choosier with the clients I take on.
