I saw the movie Almost Famous at age 17, and it changed me forever. I wanted to write about all the music I love and talk to the artists who made it. Over the last 15 years, I have covered both national and local bands (Switchfoot, Counting Crows, and Wilco are probably my three biggest interviews), had stories in national publications like The Big Takeover and Under The Radar and covered festivals like Sloss Fest and Shakey Knees. It's been such an exciting journey that I want to teach others how to do the same.
