Introduce Yourself!
Hey guys! We have quite a few new people in here, and at the end of the day this is a space for connection and intermingling of like-minded, or not so like-minded souls. If you feel like it, introduce yourself, say hi to someone, or just talk/comment about something you enjoy. At the intersection of passions and purpose connection can grow. I think a lot of us here have similar visions for the future, and a lot to share with one another. Hope you all are well, and happy lunar new year🌟

Hey friends! I’m Chris! I am your ordinary overachieving ADHD kid that yall all remember from middle school! I learned early on that I constantly have to be learning a new skill with my body soooo my hyperfixations have taken me to some really cool places around the world! My most recent hyperfixations are Qiging and aerial straps! When I’m not flipping my body or swinging like I’m in the circus I am a dr of psychology with a specialty in trauma recovery! So I love the brain, trauma, and quantum physics! Been recently diving into somatic healing, breathwork, and the power of the mind (aka I’m foilman😝). Most importantly I am obsessed with Pokemon and avitar the last airbender! Nice to meet you all and excited to nerd out together! 🤘🏼😜🤘🏼

@Erin Grady Hi Erin!
Meditation - The Proper Way
I like to start my day with breathwork and meditation. My meditations were largely ineffective until I started infusing them with intention Sit cross legged, or in a relaxed position; Close your eyes and bring your awareness to between your eyebrows. You can do this by actually pointing your eyes there while they're closed; Then think of a time you felt deep gratitude. Think of a meal, or a time with your family that was just amazing, everything seemed to be in perfect harmony. Sit with it for as long as possible. What happens after this is the marvel of the law of attraction. Other memories of deep gratitude will surface in your mind, things that evoked a similar feeling. The Law of Attraction is a mental law first, meaning what you think will attract like thoughts. Sit in this gratitude for as long as possible. When a negative or doubtful thought comes, push it away and think back to that first thought you had that evoked gratitude, do not let any negativity linger. Meditation is about gratitude, so meditate with all that you are grateful for. I'd love to hear some of your guys' favorite meditation techniques!
