So I have a patient who had a terrible injury (scorpioned at the trampoline park) Ended up fracturing T/L junction, but lived with it for a few years and got on the highest pain meds essentially. Fast forward to a year ago, she started in our office, and we were able to get her pain levels down to a 4/10 and life was much better. Then she got into a car accident. Now she has her old pain back and worse in other areas and this time it is not changing after 5+ months of care including other therapies like softwave, Red light, etc... After attending the chiro masterclass I have been trying the ganglion work, and it hurts, but the brain was not responding. I was wondering if there was another approach to get the brain's attention because is just common place for her that pain, even extreme, doesn't even phase it anymore?

I've been seriously pondering and arguing (in a healthy way) with others whether or not all of the ganglia stuff is Chiropractic or not Chiropractic. Obviously it can make a significant impact on a persons nervous system and in a way it could be classed as nerve interference, but technically doesn't fit into the vertebral subluxation. Does the ganglia have interference and are we removing that by taking the person to threshold? Or is this outside of Chiropractic but still very helpful?
