Hot Take
As Claude is taking over so many parts of my search (off market lead sourcing, analysis, pipeline and data management, etc etc etc), I'm not only heavily weighing what I can outsource to Claude, but also when to pull back. I made the decision to no longer run *any* of my communication or outreach through Claude... I fully expect some of you to cry "blasphemy". My biggest takeaway is this - know yourself and know your own playbook. Not using Claude for outreach works for my search, but it may be the biggest piece of leverage for another searcher. My search is focused on my local market, which is robust but not a major city, and everybody brushes up against everyone else. The biggest outlier I can lean on is cultivating genuine relationships and being personable and memorable. While Claude does a decent job of taking context to mirror your tone and wording, I always felt like I could never get it to sound like me. After having correspondence with others in the space, reading their remarks, and telling from a mile away that it was written by AI made me realize I never want someone to have the same thoughts about a message from me. I want those I interact with to know without a doubt that it is me on the other end and not some kind of automated reply. It's a tradeoff in opportunity cost that was made with a lot of deliberation. I'm willing to spend the few extra hours a week because my the nature of my search allows enough bandwidth for personal outreach. Other searchers (especially y'all hunting on a national level) may not be able to afford this tradeoff, so it goes back to know yourself and knowing your search structure. Still a big fan of all Claude is taking off my plate, but I'm appreciating the ability to pick my own adventure.
Get Some Rest
Saturdays are family days for me. Usually that means: 🏝️ Beach Days 🐤 Chik-fil-a 🛝 Playgrounds But regardless of what we’re doing, I’m doing it with my beautiful wife and our boys❤️ 🚫 No CIMs 🚫 No phone calls Nothing. Searching takes a lot out of you- especially since most of you are doing it while working full time. Be sure to take time to recharge and refocus on what matters most. Because if you’re like me, you’ll never get this time back. How do you like to rest and recharge?

How sick is having beach access for the weekly recharge? Surfing, snorkeling, spearfishing, paddleboarding - so much room for activities!

Manny, I’m just down the road a bit in Juno Beach, but I’m up in Vero often. I’m also specifically hunting in the SE FL market - I’d be happy to meet up and swap notes. Shoot me a DM if you’d like to set something up

@Maceo Jourdan Razzle-Dazzle Rose is a favorite, if you have any to spare. Give me a holler if you want to link up and swap notes!
Claude Win
In addition to my lacking tech skills, I also have serious diagnosed ADHD. This means my desktop/file management has always been a mess. Keeping my head above water was the best I ever hoped for when it came to organizing my digital life (which has caused a lot of professional stress). Earlier this week I handed this over to Claude via Jed's tutorials with Antigravity/Claude co-work. I knew so little about the workflows I needed for file management that I barely knew what instruction to give it. It was able to work through some prompts with me and within 30 minutes I ended up with a system I love. Everything is clean, tidy, findable, and all I have to do for future files is throw them in an "INBOX" folder and Claude sorts them for me. Whether your search is on market/off market, you're likely to be inundated with files like I was - CIM's, LBO models and templates, trackers/dashboards, DD files for financial/legal/ops, etc etc etc. Any attempt to manually organize these was never consistent and things quickly got sloppy. No more. Claude knows where to file all of these things to keep me sane. ... and I'm only scratching the surface. Jed heard me constantly be a pouty baby about tech and AI and I have now become a full convert. Claude makes some tasty Kool Aid.

@Jed Morris do you use Claude in excel to build LBO’s, or do you use the antigravity interface?
