My community could use some prayers right now. We just had our second student take his own life. We lost one of my son’s football teammates this fall at the age of 14. Today we found out one of our high school students took his own life at maybe 16. This hits a lot different and harder after watching my son and his team go through the grief of their teammate. My heart breaks for the parents and just want to wrap them up in as many prayers as possible.

I’m looking for a new church in DFW area to attend with my daughters. Does anyone have suggestions on the east side of 75 near Parker. Will drive up to 45 minutes au direction!

How many times have you stopped and thought “man I am grateful for this life?” It hit me during school drop off about how we get so caught up in our day to day, the to do list, the kids activities that we take every thing for granted. These last 4 years or so has made me realize I am grateful for this journey I have been on. I’m a single mom to two amazing kids that keep me very busy. From driving them to school, to coaching the youngest travel baseball team, to early morning drives for the oldest to get to football practice. We live in the car going back and forth, but I’m so glad to have this time with my kids. To see my youngest singing Christian songs that he has on his own hype playlist. To us jamming out to songs from my childhood. To deep conversations. This time will not last forever, so I am going to live it up as long as they want to hang with their mom. So I challenge you to take a break and look at your life and the journey you are on to be grateful for the little things.
