I underestimated make.com😳
I thought I understood automation. Then I spent 21 hours learning Make.com —and realized I was just scratching the surface. For the longest time, I underestimated tools like Make.com. I thought automation was just about connecting apps or saving a few clicks here and there. But after diving into Make.com for 21 hours (yes, I tracked it), I’ve realized how much more there is to it. Here’s what I’ve learned so far: 1️⃣ It’s Not Just Automation—It’s Creative Problem-Solving At first, I expected Make.com to be another plug-and-play tool. Instead, it feels like building something custom to fit my workflow. You can connect apps in ways I didn’t even know were possible—automating tasks I never thought I could streamline. 2️⃣ The Visual Interface Changes Everything Honestly, the visual workflows are a game changer. Being able to see how each app, trigger, and action connects has helped me understand my own processes better. It’s like untangling a ball of string and finally seeing where everything fits. 3️⃣ The More You Dive In, The More You See the Potential I started with small things—like syncing data across tools. But now I’m thinking about automating entire systems, from client onboarding to follow-ups. And the best part? It feels like there’s no ceiling to what I can build. My Takeaway? I used to think automation was just a productivity hack. Now, I see it as a way to completely rethink how I work. 21 hours in, and I’m still only scratching the surface of what Make.com can do. What about you? If you’ve used Make.com—or any automation tool—what’s the coolest workflow you’ve built? I’d love to hear how others are using this to save time and solve problems.

Here' how to get Infront of clients
I used to spend hours cold messaging people… and got ignored every time. Here’s what changed." "In the beginning, my entire strategy to get clients was hard selling and endless outreach. I’d send dozens of messages, thinking quantity would eventually lead to quality. But one day, I stopped and thought: ‘Would I even reply to my own message?’ The answer was no. Why? Because every time I got messages from people trying to sell me something on Instagram, I ignored them too. It was clear—they weren’t trying to help me; they were just trying to sell me. So, I flipped the script. Instead of chasing people, I started attracting them: 1️⃣ I shifted my focus to creating content on LinkedIn. 2️⃣ I started providing value in groups like this. The result? The people who saw my value began reaching out to me. No awkward pitches. No spammy messages. Just conversations with people who already trusted my expertise." When you focus on helping instead of selling, your clients find you. Your content and actions become the best pitch you’ll ever make. "Have you ever flipped your strategy to attract clients instead of chasing them? Let me know in the comments—or check out my LinkedIn for more on how I made this shift! https://www.linkedin.com/in/chisala-mwelwa-4620a5318?utm_source=share&utm_campaign=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=android_app Requested by @Slavi Savanovic

Start Strong and Keep Growing (Motivation)
To all the AI agencies out there—whether you're just starting to learn about artificial intelligence, figuring out how to build chatbots, or working hard to bring in those first leads—this message is for you. 💪 ✅✅✅ Starting from Scratch is Okay Every expert was once a beginner. Don't feel intimidated by the complexity of AI or the vastness of what you need to learn. Taking small, consistent steps is the key to progress. You’re not behind; you’re exactly where you need to be. Even the most advanced agencies began with questions, doubts, and hurdles. They learned by experimenting, failing, and trying again—and so will you. ✅✅✅ Keep Your Eyes on the Goal Learning how to build chatbots or grow your agency might feel overwhelming, but focus on why you started. Whether it’s to help businesses solve real problems, empower others, or make an impact—your purpose is your fuel. Use it to keep going, even when it gets tough. ✅✅✅ Celebrate Every Win Did you learn a new AI concept today? Did you complete a chatbot demo? Did a potential client show interest? These small victories are proof that you’re moving forward. Success is a collection of these tiny wins, so celebrate them as they come! ✅✅✅ You're Building Something Great AI is changing how the world works, and by being part of this field, you're already ahead. Even if it feels like others are moving faster, remember: your journey is your own. Focus on building a strong foundation, and the results will come. ✅✅✅ Never Stop Asking Questions Whether you're trying to improve your AI skills, create a chatbot from scratch, or find better ways to reach clients, curiosity is your best ally. There’s a wealth of free tools, communities, and tutorials to support you. You don’t have to know everything right away—just be willing to learn. ✅✅✅ The Best is Yet to Come Your persistence will pay off. AI is a powerful tool, but it’s nothing without your vision, determination, and creativity. Keep learning, building, and reaching out to others.

I SIGNED MY FIRST CLIENT
At least that’s what you’re going to be saying after I tell you this story: Yesterday, I was on a call with a prospect. We were going through the usual conversation—talking about his business, his goals, and the challenges he was facing. But then, I asked him a question that changed the entire tone of the call. I said, “If nothing changes for the next six months, how will that affect not just your business, but your family and the life you’ve been trying to build?” There was silence on the other end of the line. And then, I heard his voice crack. He started tearing up. It wasn’t because I had said anything groundbreaking—it was because, for the first time in a long time, someone truly cared enough to ask. He was shocked. He said, “I’ve talked to so many people, but no one’s ever asked me that. No one’s ever cared this much about my business or my family.” That moment wasn’t about closing a deal or pitching my services. It was about connection. It was about showing him that I wasn’t just another person trying to sell something— I was someone who genuinely cared about helping him succeed, not just in his business, but in his life. And you know what happened? He didn’t hesitate. He said, “Where do I sign? Let’s do this.” The lesson here is simple: People don’t buy from you because you have the best product or the slickest pitch. They buy because they feel understood. They buy because they know you care. So, the next time you’re on a call, stop trying to sell. Instead, dig deep. Ask the questions that matter. Show them that their success is personal to you. That’s how you win clients—and their trust—for life.

@Slavi Savanovic In he beginning I use to focus on hard selling and just outreach in general But I thought to myself that "would I reply to my own messages?" I use to receive messages from people trying to sell me something on IG and I always ignored them So I realized I wouldn't reply because I knew all the people want is to sell me So I switched the approach and started creating content on LinkedIn and providing value in groups like this And then instead outreaching the ones who so my value reached out I also have more on getting clients on my LinkedIn by the way Link on profile

Just start
I’m 19, and sometimes I feel like I’m 10 steps behind everyone else. But here’s what I’ve learned—it doesn’t matter." When I first started as an entrepreneur, I felt out of place. Most people my age were focused on college, parties, or just figuring out life. Meanwhile, I was trying to pitch my ideas, build connections, and grow something meaningful. Everywhere I looked, I saw people older than me with more experience, more resources, and a bigger network. I started thinking: Am I too young for this? Do I even have what it takes? Should I just wait until I’m ‘ready’? It’s easy to feel like you’re too young to start something big. People might not take you seriously. You might doubt yourself. But waiting for the ‘perfect time’ is the biggest trap. What I’ve learned is this: Starting early means you have time to learn and grow. Every mistake becomes a lesson that puts you ahead. People will notice your drive and ambition, regardless of your age. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to start." If you’re young and trying to build something, don’t let doubt hold you back. Start messy. Fail forward. Learn as you go.
