I’m enjoying the class so far. The experience has been very valuable, especially getting exposure to the hands-on work involved. It’s been a great opportunity to build practical skills that will definitely strengthen my cybersecurity experience

Exciting news coming!
I have some very exciting news coming. I have been in talks with great cyber training providers. I will be able to offer my community members heavily discounted and even free training with lab access! This is going to be huge for this community and your cyber careers! I can't share anything yet, but next week I think should have it all sorted out and be able to share! Have a great weekend everyone!

My name is Chimy Nwakanma. I want to transition into cybersecurity. I am confident I have transferable skills in incident management, network support, and strong communication skills. I am highly self-driven and have invested significant time building a solid foundation across core cybersecurity domains and fundamentals through self learning. At this stage, I am focused on gaining deeper hands-on exposure to security tools and learning how to effectively use them in real-world investigations. My goal is to strengthen my practical capability and be well prepared for technical cybersecurity interviews. Outside of work, I am a passionate soccer and NBA fan, and I enjoy playing video games in my free time.

What to expect from this community
I want to thank each of you who have joined this community to work on your cyber security career! Since you are a founding member I will be working directly with each of you to help create a plan for getting into cyber security. I have helped over 10 people get into cyber already before starting this program! I cancelled the group meeting for tomorrow, sorry for the short notice. I will be moving these group meetings to Friday. Before the start of next week I will setup a booking for that each of you can use to book a 1-1 meeting with me where we can go over your current situation and discuss your plan for getting into cyber!
