🎉 I Got My First AI Automation Client! 🚀
I’m so excited to share this incredible milestone with you all! One month ago, I started building my AI Automation Agency (AiAA) from scratch. Thanks to my nearly 4 years of experience in software development, I picked up no-code and AI tools faster than I expected. It’s been a thrilling journey, and I want to tell you how I landed my very first client. A friend of mine, who I’ve known for a couple of years, runs a traditional social media management (SMM) agency. He’s been scaling his business and even hired an employee last month. But as his agency grew, so did his challenges: keeping track of data, managing his earnings, staying on top of Instagram DMs, and more. Whenever I learned something cool about AI or no-code tools, I’d share it with him. It would go like this: “Hey, look what I just discovered!” “Check this out—look what I built!” I’d show him how quickly and efficiently AI and automation tools could transform workflows, and he was genuinely impressed by the possibilities. Fast forward to now—he recognized how passionate and capable I am, and he hired me to create automations for his agency! 🎉 This isn’t just about landing a client; it’s about the joy of turning knowledge into impact and helping someone solve real problems with the power of AI. I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to take on more projects like this, and I wish you all great sucess!

Ai voice agent masterminds
I noticed there are many sub niches around AI in this community. Although im just getting started myself, wondering if there are people who focus strictly on voice ai agents and want to form a small mastermind group where we can share our progress and learnings. Im happy to create a private telegram for this purpose. If you are serious comment down below so i can see how much interest there is 🙂

If you're a beginner, I'd suggest just creating simple chatbots or voice bots. Loads of tutorial on youtube. Then as you get better, you'll naturally lean towards a certain side. Now push forward lol
🧙 AI Agency Wizardry 🧙 - Connect OpenAI Realtime API With Twilio
So, most of you would have heard the big news in the OpenAI sector over the last few days, they have released the real-time API. This means that OpenAI will now manage all of the voice calls on their server, essentially replacing services like VAPI. In this demonstration, I'll show you how to connect Twilio to a Replit to manage calls with the OpenAI real-time API. All the audio from the call is sent to the OpenAI system via the real-time API. It uses the OpenAI LLM to process the context of the call and then uses OpenAI voices to send back an audio response that is played over the phone. If you would like to build your own test system and follow along with this video, I have included the Replit URL that you can fork. As long as you have an OpenAI API key and a Twilio account, you will be able to build your own system for demonstration purposes. The Replit Clone URL: https://replit.com/@AndrewViddusRea/Connect-OpenAI-Realtime-API-With-Twilio?v=1 From my testing, the latency is about equivalent to what VAPI is currently producing. The big difference, however, is the pricing while testing, it has been costing between $0.16 and $0.21 per minute, depending on how much talking the OpenAI voices do. Here is the pricing from the OpenAI website, and as you can see, it's not cheap. The Real-Time API uses both text tokens and audio tokens. Text input tokens are priced at $5 per million, and $20 per million output tokens. Audio input is priced at $100 per million tokens, and output is $200 per million tokens. This equates to approximately $0.06 per minute of audio input and $0.24 per minute of audio output. Audio in the Chat Completions API will be the same price. Currently, there seem to be only three voices available, but there may be more voices added in the future, so please keep an eye on OpenAI's documentation. Quick Note: Their call interrupt handling is really poor at the moment and that's one big issue that they will likely address because there's not much you can do to change it. There is a setting variable you can pass, but it doesn't really make a difference, I played with it for quite a while.

My Cold-Call pitch that books meetings (I'm not selling you anything)
Hey everyone, First, let me start out by saying that I am writing this without any ulterior motive. There will be no link to my calendar, or my "cold call course" or anything like that. I do not offer any type of training and I certainly do not claim to be a cold call professional. I am simply writing this because I found a pitch that works really well, and would like to share it with others. Sorry for such a lengthy post. Background: I run an AI agency called Agent Automation which helps real estate agents integrate AI into their business. I SOLELY target real estate agents, although my business does have a handful of clients in other niches that just came from referrals. Again, I am no professional. I am simply just sharing my experience and my opinion on what I think works. Maybe this pitch would suck in other industries, I don't know, but I think it's worth a try. Step 1 - WHO: Figure out your 'ICP' (Ideal Customer Profile). By this, I do NOT mean that you have to sit down and write up a biography on "John Smith who is a 32 yr old male that plays hockey on the weekend and has 3 kids". No, that stuff won't help you. What I mean by this is don't just say "I'm going to call any real estate agent in __________, because that's who my customer is". Get a bit deeper. Initially I was doing that (calling any and all agents) and found that my success rate for booking a 2nd call was very, very low. This leads to discouragement which usually leads to quitting. Then I realized that the only agent who would REALLY benefit from a chatbot would be an agent who get's a lot of traffic to their website. And how do I find those agents? Simple, find the agents who are paying for sponsored ads on Google or Facebook that lead back to their website. They have already shown that they are willing to invest money towards driving traffic to their website, and a chatbot is a great way to capitalize on all of that aid traffic. Voila! There was my sales pitch (sort of). "You are paying for traffic, and I have the solution for maximizing that traffic".
