🎸 Welcome to the Learn Lead Guitar Community! 🎸
Hey everyone! First off, thank you for being part of this group. Whether you’ve been playing guitar for years or you’re just starting your lead journey, you’re in the right place. This community was built for guitarists who: - Want to break free from the “pentatonic box” - Dream of playing fluid, expressive solos all over the fretboard - Are tired of bouncing from YouTube video to YouTube video without real progress Here, you’ll find: ✅ Tips, exercises, and practice protocols that actually work ✅ Encouragement and accountability from fellow players ✅ A place to ask questions, share wins, and get feedback ✅ Exclusive trainings and updates from me Most importantly — this isn’t about just learning scales or licks. It’s about building the freedom to grab your guitar, close your eyes, and confidently express yourself anywhere on the neck. 👉 Your first step: Drop a quick intro below! - How long have you been playing? - Who are your favorite guitarists? - What’s one thing you’d love to improve in your lead playing? I’m pumped to have you here. And let’s make this the best guitar community on the internet. Keep practicing, keep shredding, and remember... You don’t need to be 20 years old with skinny fingers to rip killer solos. You just need the right map. Rock on 🤘, Isaiah Founder, Learn Lead Guitar

Isaiah, Yep, this looks like the place for me as I hate pentatonics, am frustrated with the Youtube scene and very impressed with your pattern teaching. I learned your first free pattern and I have been having nothing but fun playing along with the online backing tracks in the key of A. I'm looking forward to learning new keys and different riffs. Thank you for putting this together...it represents a lot of thought and hard work.

@Isaiah Elliott your dad is pretty lucky, thanks for helping us older guys out, lol.
What's your #1 struggle with learning lead guitar?
I'm going to be adding more course content to the Fretboard Mapping Method. Let me know what you'd like me to shoot a video around.

My stuggle is developing new licks. I seem to play the same combo of notes over and over.
