HOW TO HIDE SKOOL GROUP?
Problem: My Skool Group is shown in the "Discovery" page as a FREE group, and it's attracting a lot of unqualified and unwanted people. Solution: How can I hide my Skool group from the Discovery page altogether? This option is not in the Settings page. Thanks @Sam Ovens / @Sid Sahasrabuddhe

Introducing "$1 Club" — the first paid community on skool
Introducing the first paid community on Skool — "$1 Club". Its purpose: To demonstrate the paid community experience. For $1 /month you'll get to: 1. See what it's like to subscribe to a paid community (as a member) 2. See what it's like to sell a paid community (as an admin) 3. Be first in line to use the payments system (for your own community) Click here to join $1 Club. We don't expect you to pay $1 /month ongoing. You can cancel your subscription at any time with 1-click. We're doing this as a live demonstration of our payments system. See you on the other side!

Who wants calendar access permissions?
Imagine making a calendar event only accessible to members at level 6. Is this something you want?

@Sam Ovens I want a calendar that's only accessible to specific members (e.g. VIP members). This will be more helpful. Is this in the works?

The Path to $10,000/month with a Skool Community
WARNING: This post may completely change how you approach online sales. If you’re a coach, guru, influencer, or teacher and you want to be making an extra $5,000 - $10,000 in fully automated, recurring monthly income... Keep reading because... In this post you're going to see how you can make monthly recurring income (MRR) with your own micro-niche online community using Skool. (Have A.D.H.D. & can't read? Just scroll down to the very bottom and you'll get my 8 Step Framework to follow to set up and grow your own 5-10k/month community, without needing a big following, and without needing a ton of content.) Let's begin: What's a micro-niche online community? Think of it like a subscription membership you can offer, either in addition to, or instead of, traditional 1:1 coaching & 1 time courses. (@Sam Ovens says to think of it like a 'country club'.) Typical deliverables may include: • Community Q&A forum • Weekly or monthly group Zoom call • Videos • Other helpful resources like ebooks, mp3's, etc. But here’s what’s cool: Micro-niche online communities can still sell extremely well even if you DON'T have a big following… I heard about this guy named Nick who sold 180 spots to his audience of 200 people... because he knew exactly what they wanted and made them a deal they couldn't refuse. And strangely enough, these micro-niche communities also work really well even if you don’t create a ton of content for them... Turns out, the #1 reason people say they unsubscribe is because there's “too much content” to go through. So now that you know WHAT a micro-niche online community is… Let me show you WHY they're by far the best thing to sell going forward... In fact, here's why they're better than high ticket, better than stand alone courses, and better than 1:1 coaching... Though first, just so you know what I'm talking about… here's some context: I wasn’t always an online community expert. Making tens of thousands every month from communities and helping others build & grow their communities was NEVER my intention.

@Ted Carr How do you setup a recurring monthly subscription on Skool? It's not under "Settings"
Separate calendar in same group
Hey Sam & Team, I like to have my whole community, free and paid, I one group, and to allow everyone to find what they need easily The tools that would help me with this are: 1. A separate calendar (which maybe can be accessed by switching it, like a Google calendar) 2. A separate course area (you already kinda have this , it’s just not integrated yet with the calendar) 3. Ideally, a separate “group chat” thread, like a Dm thread, for announcements and program specific conversation . So basically what I’m asking is if you can have “levels” to the group that are not based on “engagement” but based on price point Instead of me having to have 2 or 3 separate groups. I think the reason this is coming up and that many people would agree with me, is that Skool is being used for Free communities a lot For me, I want my paid community to mingle with the free peeps. And vice Versa And I’d love to be able to manually tick a box, and give them access to “level 2”, “level 3” and so on… Which would come with their own calendar and course — like an “overlay”, meaning that level 2 peeps can see level 1’s calendar, but not vice versa… I know that minus the group chat thread this is possible with more than 1 community, I just thought I’d share what I’d find helpful… thanks!!
