Understanding Procrastination
When we hear the word procrastination, we often immediately think negatively. We think: -I'm putting things off -I'm falling behind -I'm not doing enough -I'm being unproductive But what if procrastination isn't always negative? Sometimes procrastination is simply a pause - a signal that we need to stop and gain clarity before moving forward. But sometimes when we stop... we move on to other things and never come back to what we weren't doing. It may be telling us: -You need a clearer plan -You're overwhelmed and need to break it down -You're unsure where to start -Reevaluate what you're saying yes too This week is about understanding what your procrastination is telling you and creating a plan to move forward. ASSIGNMENT: 1. Write 3 things you've been putting off 2. Identify why you've been avoiding them 3. Choose ONE thing to focus on this week 4. What one small step can you take to get it done? Give yourself permission to Pause, Reflect and Plan. Don't think of it as procrastinating, you're preparing to move forward with purpose. Once you've worked through this, answer #3 in the comments.

WEEKLY PLANNING - A Gift To Yourself
Happy Sunday Flourish Family. One of the most powerful habits you can build is having a set day each week to plan. Life moves quickly. Between work, family, responsibilities, and the unexpected things that pop up, it’s easy to feel like the week is running you instead of you running your week. Taking time to look ahead before the week begins gives you the opportunity to pause and be intentional. When you plan your week, you can: ✨ See what’s coming before it arrives ✨ Prepare for busy days instead of reacting to them ✨ Make space for what truly matters ✨ Avoid double booking or overcommitting ✨ Create balance between responsibilities and self-care Planning weekly also allows you to ask yourself important questions like: • What are the most important things I need to accomplish this week? • Where do I need to protect my time? • What would make this week feel successful? Even if it’s just 15–20 minutes, sitting down with your planner helps bring order to the chaos. Remember: Planning is not about filling every space on your calendar. It's about giving your week direction. Your plans deserve your attention before the week begins. Reflection Question: What day works best for you to sit down and plan your week ahead?

It’s a Saturday or Sunday for me mostly Sunday
Happy Monday Flourish Family!
Shout out to @Christa Maria Franklin @Jazz Jones @Beverly Hardimon for joining our work session last evening. REMEMBER.... You are non-negotiable. If you're tired — rest. If you need a break — take it. If your body says stop — listen. Productivity is not more important than your well-being. This is why we plan. Not to run ourselves into the ground…But to create systems that allow us to pause without everything falling apart. Take care of you first. Your plans will still be there. I'M A WITNESS! This happened to me last week. New medications had me groggy and sleeping the entire week away. When I woke up Sunday feeling like myself again, it allowed me the opportunity to catch up and reset. Because my tasks are organized, I knew what I missed and was able to reprioritize to get them done and move forward. I didn't stress over trying to remember what I forgot, what I didn't do or what needed to be done. I did not feel overwhelmed. I slid right into my She Plans and had a productive Sunday which has prepared me for a productive week. HAPPY MONDAY!
