✨ Perfume Making (Made Simple) ✨ Perfume is just a blend of scent ingredients + alcohol or oil, layered to smell good over time. There are 3 main parts: 🌿 Top Notes – What you smell first Light, fresh, and quick to fade Examples: citrus, berries, herbs 🌸 Heart (Middle) Notes – The main personality This is the “true scent” of the perfume Examples: florals, fruits, soft spices 🌾 Base Notes – What lasts the longest Deep, warm, and grounding Examples: vanilla, woods, musk, amber --- 🧪 How perfume is made 1. Blend scent materials (top → heart → base) 2. Dilute with alcohol or carrier oil 3. Let it rest (called maceration) so the scent smooths out 4. Bottle + enjoy ✨ --- 💡 Why resting matters Fresh perfume can smell sharp. After 2–4 weeks, the notes meld together, get smoother, and last longer. --- 🌹 That’s it Perfume isn’t magic — it’s intentional layering + patience. Anyone can learn it 💕

The Northern lights seen last night off of my deck at my home in Wyoming. This picture speaks a thousand words to me. It's beautiful! Stunning if we're being completely honest, but it also inspires me. I want to make something as beautiful, intriguing and vibrant as this picture. I'm not just speaking about perfume lotion, body care in general or candles. I'm speaking more towards the community that I want to build.
