This is how i understand it A NICHE: Basically, we have the market for each field or domain known, for example in Real Estate (building could be considered as a niche in Real Estate). Its called niche when you found yourself comfortable in the specific domain... EXCELLING: should master the all related to the business itself (laws, metrics of the market, necessary skills for this niche...) GOOD NICHE: when comfortable and expert in it, its basically your niche. I think you mean rentable, this will depend on some metrics (part of the market, the buyer persona...) The only obstacle i see in home design is its more in person service than digital most of the time (so time consuming) but could be rewarding if its a complete business with lot of employees as a multinational (you could go as far confectionning furnitures)
