10 Week Program (completed)
What's up guys? I just finished up my 10 weeks working with Chase. Going through the course was super insightful, and helped give me a better understanding of how to build my business. Getting on a call every week with Chase and brainstorming new ideas gave the course that much more depth to help me progress pretty quickly. At the beginning of the course, I started with about 3-5 consistent clients to now having 10+ clients I see regularly (while seeing up to 17 different players during this time). My advice for this program would be to take every opportunity you can, even if it doesn't work. You can't make progress if you are not willing to try new ideas or try at all.

Even through the holiday times you kept grinding and built great momentum for this upcoming year. Excited to see you keep going Kobe. Thanks for the kind words my man!
Year Ahead…
Happy New Years to my fellow coaches out there! As another year begins, I can’t help but get excited about the lives we get to impact in the players we teach, mentor, and coach. Whether your players or their parents tell you often or they don’t tell you at all…But you make the difference in their lives by showing up every day with a heart and mind in it for the right reasons… Show up and be the person you wish you had on your athletic journey! Let’s grow this year brothers!

Building for Long Term Growth
The difference between you wanting to make your training business sustainable beyond trading time for money is your offer, fulfillment, and most importantly - the TRANSFORMATION you provide to your clients. The more generalized offer you have, the less transformative experience you'll most likely make in your players lives. Sure, in the short term you might lose a couple clients because you won't focus on what they're looking for, but long term... You'll become the expert at 1 specific thing. And bingo. Now you're THE coach to go to for a specific result or outcome (gain throwing velocity, gain exit velocity, mental mastery, speed improvement) instead of being A coach that can "help".

How to charge a premium rate…
BE DIFFERENT THAN THE AVERAGE! Yes, premium rates come with experience. But wouldn’t you rather skip the 5-10 years to get there? Here’s how: Offer something extra and valuable on top of the normal service. Normal guy: “I offer hitting and pitching lessons” You: “ I offer detailed swing analysis, a tangible routine checklist for your player to implement in 1-2 months, and I offer X,Y,Z on top of my in person training sessions.” Same time. Same core offer. But one can charge higher rates because they’re providing more value.

Jack of all trades is a master of none
One of the main reasons private trainers struggle to acquire clients online is that they aren’t super clear of who their target athlete is… Saying “I do private training online or remote” isn’t compelling enough for a brand new athlete/parent to trust you. It’s about picking a niche or specialty that you are most confident in and going all in with being the best you can be. Example: “I help 13-15 year old pitchers make their high school varsity team by adding 3-5mph to their Fastball”. - Super specific target - Result+Outcome oriented with a focus on Transformation Don’t be 1 of 100. Be 1 of 1
