Leaving for now
@Travis Ewart Thank you for all of your help this past year. You’ve helped me tremendously when I needed it and didn’t know where to turn for advice and break past my sticking points. Your knowledge and ability to teach these movements is second to none. Now that I have the C2B down I won’t need as much instruction. I’ll just be focusing on continuing to work on my skills and volume. If I need help in the future I’ll rejoin the community.
Butterfly C2B
Hi Travis, been awhile since I’ve worked on these. Finally out of the season of qualifiers and the open. Appreciate any feedback on what you see. Took a few videos.

@Travis Ewart the thumb over grip and pulling firm on the bar helped a lot. Best reps yet. I’m still struggling with keeping height on my reps and start to lose rhythm on the 4th rep.

Strength, Timing and ROM for you T2B
I've been absent from the page! I spent a bit over a week helping some friends on their farm up the east coast here in Australia, and between the brutally hot sunshine and manual labor I was absolutely TOASTED at the end of the day! But, I'm back! I just finished editing this video. The intention of the video is to educate the athletes who join my First 4 T2B program about the necessary Strength, Timing and Range of Motion for the T2B, but the concept I think is good for everybody to consider when they are doing their T2B sets and find that something is a bit off. Getting your feet to connect to the bar at the same time your torso reaches its furthest back position is essential to consecutive and fluid reps, as well is your feet reaching their furthest back position when your torso reaches its furthest forward position. If you have a few minutes to watch this video, I would love your feedback and hear if it applies to your training.

@Travis Ewart This is the most in depth breakdown of the toes 2 bar I’ve ever seen. I love the pendulum illustration. I’m going to use this and the power generation of the leg swing in the arch to hollow when building up my volume. I notice my ability to do more than a set of 5 start to breakdown as the rep count in a workout starts to get near 30. Then I’m forced to singles. I’ve started making sure I’m doing the movement once per week. Travis in your experience what’s the best way to build up volume? Would it be the T2B FITR day once per week?

@Travis Ewart I did CrossFit open 18.1 today in class. In the TTB I focused on letting my knees bend behind me and feet above my knees in the arch to generate power. It helped me keep getting reps in. Am I thinking about this right? Is this the same principle for the legs as in the butterfly pull-up?
Virtual Coaching
Virtual Coaching is now on the menu. This is fairly new to me, but with the several virtual encounters I have had so far it has been WAY more helpful than I have expected 🤓 If you are curious at all to know what this is about, you can just check this link to see some details. No, this is not necessarily for everybody, but sometimes just working on your skill and getting real-time feedback can make a big difference. https://gymnasticshelp.youcanbook.me/ If this is something you are interested in, I would love to have an "almost real-life" coaching session with you!

@Travis Ewart absolutely. If I hit a sticking point in my butterfly c2b I will consider this.
