I have been using ChatGPT and others for very heavy, down in the weeds, research on engineering issues with lithium iron phosphate battery (LFP) installations on recreational boats including integrating with Victron energy conversion and management systems. It has been very helpful but, and it is a big but, a user basically can’t ask a deeply technical question without some knowledge about what the result should be. ChatGPT has given wrong, sometimes seriously wrong, answers that I have been able to catch. I recommend caution when going really deep down a rabbit hole. Trust but verify.
