Content Creation
Noob question here... When it comes to creating content, does anyone use actual real life projects to demonstrate your services? For example, if you are a Graphic Designer and make posters for your clients' social media, would you reshare/repost those posters/posts with text saying something about your client's business then follow up with something like: "If you'd like a poster advertising your services like this one then get in touch." I know it's usually okay to share real-life projects as work examples in your portfolio (if not white-labelling) but I mean specifically sharing them on social media. Or would that be something the client wouldn't appreciate? Is there a social etiquette with this kind of thing? Thanks for any advice you can give!

Landed my first client!
Hey, everyone! I'd be interested to get your feedback and any constructive criticism you have on this e-commerce website I designed and developed myself with a custom WordPress theme: https://artbyfjames.co.uk

@Ravi Varman I'm with Krystal Hosting UK on their Emerald plan: https://krystal.io/hosting I haven't had any issues with it yet so see no need or advantage of moving to a dedicated server. But some people say having a dedicated server is much better so I will have to look into it. I was looking into switching to WP Engine recently after trialling them for a month - I found the development process super easy as I use Local by Flywheel which has a 1-click upload function which can update both live and staging sites directly from the Local app without having to worry about CLIs or FTP etc. Was so nice - I think if I switch to any other hosting it will definitely be WP Engine even if only for that one reason of having a simple development process. Can you list any reasons for switching to a dedicated server from your direct experience?

@Ravi Varman Hmm, okay. Sounds like a no-go for me.
Landed my second client!
I worked with Rainbow Restoration UK last December so this is a bit of a late post. The site wasn't fully designed or developed by me - I only made custom development updates and fixes to the existing theme, so I won't be adding this site to my portfolio. But I thought I'd share it as a good example of how we can still create relationships with clients on a 'maintenance' basis with web development services. You can check out their updated site here: https://www.rainbowrestoration.co.uk

I'm curious what platform you are using to develop your websites? πŸ€” 1. GoHighLevel 2. Webflow 3. Framer 4. Wordpress 5. Shopify πŸ‘‡ Comment the number in the comments and why you're using that tool!

@Vicky B As far as I can see, headless is mostly useful for SPAs. What are your reasons for using it? I don't think I'll ever need it a I am so familiar with the WP Core and theme API.
