What's on your mind this week?
What are your intentions for the week ahead? What would you like to grow? What would you like to slow? . . . . . The Oracle card I pulled this week for this community is Priomordial. Our primordial consciousness are the essence of who we are before we learn personality. They are the characteristics so inherent to our blood and bone we could not walk away from them if we tried. It's quite easy to spot in animals. My new kitten shows me his primordial self by being a bit territorial. By always wanting to pounce on my larger cat, staking his claim on me by trying to groom my arm hairs, and fearlessly insisting he eats first. His wild nature is dominant, possessive, and fearless. I belive some of our human primordial traits live in moments of truth, awe, and power. Where we are able to meet ourselves authentic. Be fully present for the beauty we see around us, and how we hold ourselves with confidence and grace in pursuit of our missions. Our primordial traits are the necessary parts of ourselves that we may have learned to dampen on minimize for acceptance. What parts of you are necessary to express? How can you bring that energy into what you do and how you do it? In my income REBELLION journey, I have begun to think of my work as answering the questions: "what does it mean to leave the world more liberated than what I have been handed?" This question has been the drum beat of my work and my activism for more than 10 years now, yet it hasn't always been easy to incorporated into my full time work. In fact, when I first started my business, I shied away from integrating my activism with my work to focus on the sexier, easily marketable problems with capitalism. I focused my work on burnout prevention which, while important, only scratched the surface on the work I now dedicate my life to. Resenting the primordial meant disconnecting with power. Through anger work and by asking myself the question "if I wasn't afraid to fail, what would I do differently?". At its core, this income REBELLION journey is picking a mission that is bigger than you and dedicating your life to it. Making sure you are a whole, nourished, and integrated person so you can carry forward your mission in as many ways possible.

Anger 🤭🤭🤭
I hope to connect with you all else here in the group, so I here share an update relating to my last post in hopes we will start more conversations. 📑 When doing the preparation videos for the anger work, I noticed I was just confused. Knowing I can only make headway on the work after a 1on1, when I noticed a free "Mastering the Art of Communication" workshop on IG, I didn't think anything would connect to Income Rebellion. Long story short, the workshop was very valuable to me. It gave me some skills to access my feelings in a different way that definitely works after trying it out. They taught us frameworks for communication that definitely relates to this work because now I understand negotiation a little bit more, which I know I will need down the road. It got me wondering what peoples experiences in gaining social skills/sales skills/communication skills are. Does anyone have any tips or helpful information for someone looking to grow in those areas? 🐥✨l🖤

Where is your scorpion 🦂🦂🦂
Happy Tuesday 🌸✨🕺🏾 And you know i would love to hear: How are you feeling? What are you creating? Where can you help someone? Where can you receive help? SHARE BELOW . . . . When has your comfort prevented you from acknowledging the danger that lives beside you? I was getting ready for bed last night and I went to get my cat, Zuzu, who was hanging out outside. I walked over to the ledge he was pitched above my refrigerator and gently started petting him to begin to coax him down. It was only then that I realized inches away from my hand was a scorpion ready to strike. My brain went into panic mode if I tried to move my cat I risked my cat getting agitated and moving rapidly. If I tried to remove the scorpion I risked the scorpion freaking out and going into a stinging frenzy. So I waited. I waited for the scorpion to scurry away, I quickly grabbed my cat and killed the scorpion in rapid succession. Cats may have 9 lives but every time my cats risk one I have a mini heart attack. As I was sipping my coffee this morning I reflected on this and I realized this is such a good analogy, I had to share it. A lot of times when we are comfortable we don’t know how much danger we are in. When we see the danger, the hurt, the risk of our current comfort, we may want to force rapid change, rapid transition. We may want to get up and burn it all to the ground. We may want to kill the scorpion immediately, even if we aren’t in a position to do so. I’ve found there is a pause between awareness and elimination of a problem. This phase is uncomfortable, scary, uncertain. This phase is temporary. The brave thing is to prepare yourself for when your opportunity for action is available. A brief moment where the risk is a little less so you can take swift action and make the changes that are necessary. So where are you comfortably laying next to a scorpion in your life? Or maybe someone or something you love is sitting next to a scorpion and doesn’t even realize? I’d love to hear your thoughts below
