Hope everyone's having a great December 🙂 Wanted to share that I've recently made some good strides in mixing after watching the Lenses module in the classroom. I really resonated with the part about spending 20min to make a track 1% better. I used to view mixing as a daunting task and felt like I would have to dedicate 1-2 undisturbed days to mixing a song (and consequently put it off for months). I'm beginning to see how I can incorporate shorter sessions into my day to day life, and even experience mixing as a leisurely activity rather than something stressful. I've been leaning into trusting my taste and my instincts, and as a result I've been flowing through music much more quickly and gracefully.
