Seeking Advice on Managing Invoices After 15th Award Milestone
Hey team, I hope you’re all doing well! I’m excited to share that I’ve now reached my 15th award, but I’ve realized that I’ve missed some invoices along the way. Managing everything has become a bit more challenging, and I want to make sure I stay on top of my invoicing from here on out. Does anyone have any advice or best practices on how to keep better track of invoices, especially when juggling multiple awards or projects? Any tools, strategies, or tips you’ve found helpful would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your insights!

Shipping to FPO AE.
Good morning, I have a question for shipping to an FPO address (a ship): USS ARLINGTON LPD 24 UNIT 100341 BOX 1 FPO AE 09564 US. The item is about $450 lbs. How should I calculate the shipping cost? USPS online does not allow for items that are more than 70 lbs. Any help is greatly appreciated

@Sylvie Kaj Shipping an item weighing 450 lbs to an FPO (Fleet Post Office) address is more complex due to the weight limit imposed by USPS (which is 70 lbs). For heavier items like this, you’ll need to explore alternative shipping methods. Here are some steps to consider: 1. Use a Freight Forwarder: Since USPS cannot handle packages over 70 lbs, you’ll need to work with a freight forwarder that specializes in military shipping. They can break down the shipment into smaller parcels or arrange transport through other means. 2. Contact a Shipping Carrier: Look into carriers like FedEx, UPS, or DHL, which offer freight services for heavier items and can handle shipments to military addresses. They will likely need to split the shipment into multiple boxes or use palletized freight. 3. Use a Military-Focused Shipping Service: There are logistics companies that specifically handle military shipments, including heavy and bulky items, and are experienced in working with FPO addresses. You can look into companies like ShipitAPO, Military Freight, or other similar services.

Free Product
If you're using 4x6 thermal printing paper for shipping labels, you can get them for free at UPS. You first need a create a UPS business account to order them which is free as well. You get 6,000 shipping labels for free.

@Calrin Faulkner Thanks for the info about UPS! Do you know if FedEx offers a similar deal for thermal shipping labels? I’m currently using them, so it’d be great to see if they have the same type of offer.I managed to get some free boxes from FedEx
