I am going to keep it short otherwise you will be reading the whole day... I am Jonell originally from SA. Been in NZ now for over 12 years. Studied nails in the UK when we lived there and started working in a beauty salon doing nails when we returned to SA in 2009. Quickly become salon manager and after a couple of years I started my very own successfull home salon doing nails (mostly acrylic back then), lash extensions & tinting. We came to NZ in 2013 where I worked for a salon, but always craved owning my own salon again. Things did not work out as I thought starting my own business, and got so hurt through it all that I did not even want to do nails anymore...(at least that is what I allowed myself to believe) But that is what I thought until I met Shirley a couple of months ago and now doing part time nails from a beautiful home salon and so blessed to live where we are to have stunning views from the salon. This course to me is deeper than just learning new skills, this is to find myself again and to break the chains of hurt, and the voice of telling me I am not good enough to prove that I am good enough and also to become the best version of myself and the best in my area.
