PUPPY BIRD EXPOSURE
Has your puppy had their first bird exposure yet? 🐦 Yes or no below, and and if yes, tell me how it went! I genuinely love hearing these stories, good and messy both. Drive development and bird intro is what we're diving into this week. Want to know where you guys are at before we get into it

Have 5. 4 month old pups and have done one bird introduction with them last week. All Seriously kill driven .... cost me 2 birds, all very hard mouthed, not sure what to do next though! There parents have had 1 season under them and are very hard mouthed and destroy shot birds instantly. I guess only reps will lesson that issue, that why i lack confidence on moving further i dont know if what im doing is contributing....
You know what the most important training tool you own right now is?
Not the e-collar. Not the check cord. It's your leash. A puppy on a leash is a puppy you can actually teach something. The second they're loose and doing their own thing, you've lost the classroom entirely. If you can't control the environment, you can't control what they're learning. Long line or house leash for the first few months. I know it feels restrictive, but but when the obedience comes together easily at 6 months, you'll know exactly why. What breed are you working with? Drop it below! 👇

English pointers and britt/setter
It's puppy season and I am PUMPED to be going through this with you guys! 🐕
Quick question, how old is your gun dog pup right now? Drop the breed and age below. We're kicking off a full puppy series this incoming month and I want to know exactly where everyone's at. The content hits a lot different when I know what you're actually working with. More coming this week!
