Book Order Fulfillment
Who do you use to drop ship your book when someone orders it from your website? I'm looking into ShipBob. Anyone use them?

@Kevin Hall but you want to capture their information: name, email, and phone number, right? How does that work within ingramSpark?

Thanks for your feedback, @Lawrence Drexel, Jr. And @Julie Broad I'm modeling funnels like Dan Henry and Russell Brunson where the book is free plus shipping on the front end and the profit comes on the backend, both through immediate upsells and offers down the line... I'm still working out what the upsell offers will be as I build the front-end page in Go High Level and research shipping Right now Lulu is printing my books and I'm selling them at local speaking engagements. So far the reception has been phenomenal. About 150 people have the book and many are loving it and and telling me it's changing their lives (which is great because that's the point!) Here's the (unfinished) sales page. Lmk what you think 🤔 https://chadpaulmedia.com/ (look at it on mobile - desktop is a mess)
Selling direct
I recently found out about a company called Curios.com who help authors sell direct. My plan going forward is to have US copyright and sell on a platform such as Curios. I will also be selling physical books. I think most people expect you to have books on Amazon. But going forward, Amazon is going to be a very minor part of my strategy. I also recognise that women’s history is not a massive niche. I do the books because I want to do talks. I want to talk about women from the past such as Jane Austen and Charlotte Brontë. There are many people out there who do enjoy that. I have promised myself to have my current books on Curios within 2 weeks. My new books coming out at the end of May will also go on there.

@Stephen Shapiro who do you use to fulfill your book orders from your website? I too am using my book in part as lead capture at the front end of a sales funnel. It seems to me that some of my marketing mentors, like Russell Brunson and Dan Henry, use the same "free book plus pay-for-shipping model" on the front end. From my research, they buy their books in bulk to keep costs down and then have them warehoused, packed, and shipped by a 3PL company like ShipBob. Is that what you do?
From Manuscript to 10,000+ Readers
Current: Manuscript is done (including ideal audience member reviews, and edits) Goals: 1) Book Launch Q1 2026 2) 10,000+ readers, superfans and engaged leads by the end of the year (whom I'll continue to serve with paid courses, coaching programs, communities, etc) Also: I have an existing profitable Skool community for a totally different audience and will be creating one for this audience as well, along with book funnels (ala Russell Brunson) where the PDF-formatted book is a free lead magnet and the physical book is a break-even paid offer to bring people into my world... Note: My niche is alcoholics and addicts in recovery who are sober but stuck and looking to breakthrough to achieve the purpose-driven, self- actualized lives they really want (Yes, based on my own hard-lived experience)! Where I need help: The easiest, fastest way to go from Manuscript to physical book, ebook and audio book Who wants to offer advice (who's already done it)? Thanks in advance for your help 😊 @Julie Broad

@Julie Broad thanks, I submitted the form and look forward to speaking with you! I chose not to include the book draft because it's my baby and until we speak and build some trust... well, you get it 😉

My memoir I AM GOOD is launching this weekend
Since finishing my manuscript in August/September, about three months have passed—and now the book is finally scheduled to release on Amazon this weekend. I’m actively learning what it takes to get a book into the world. I had a small ARC group of about a dozen readers, and I’m hoping a few of them will leave early reviews. - If you’re at a similar stage in your publishing journey, feel free to reach out. I’d love to learn from each other and share what’s working. - If you’re interested in reading the book, I’m happy to send it your way—and I’d be grateful if you’re open to leaving a review as well. - Here is the back cover description of my book: Have you ever felt like you were running from a past you could never escape? For years, Xiaorong Deng carried the weight of a life defined by loss: her mother’s suicide, her stepmother’s rejection, and the guilt of not being by her father’s side in his final days. To survive, she buried her story, convinced she was not good enough, and unworthy of belonging. But when she became a mother, she knew she had to face the past—or risk passing her wounds onto her daughter. I AM GOOD is a vulnerable and hopeful memoir about the brave journey to reclaim the girl within and find the way home. It is a story that will help you feel seen in your own struggles, find the courage to confront your past, quiet your inner critic, and finally heal your core relationships to create a legacy of love. If you have ever struggled to find your worth, this book will remind you of a powerful truth: you are, and always have been, good.

@Xiaorong Deng that's awesome! Congrats 👏 How did you go from manuscript to physical book? That's the stage I'm in right now...
Help Me Crush It
Hey y'all! I'm a consultant, speaker, writer, content marketer and entrepreneur. About to launch my first book in the addiction/recovery space. Who here has launched a book, sold 10,000+ copies (or given that number away as a lead magnet) and leveraged the book to build a seven figure business? That's my goal, and I'm open to suggestions from those who've done it. Thanks!
