2 opposite approaches that can both work
There are a lot of theories & strategies about how to create change (transformations or behavior modification). One end of the spectrum focuses on massive, instant & intensive change, and the other end advocates for small, incremental & progressive steps. In the end, both can be effective or ā€œrightā€, it just depends on you and where you’re currently at. I’ve tried both and see the value in each side. You just have to decide what’s right for you at this time. Maybe look at it like this: Life is ultimately a marathon…a long game with lots of repetition and ā€œsticking with itā€. However, there are short intervals within that longer race where it’s more like a sprint…very intense & with significant gains in a fraction of the time. So taking the long approach aligns with the boring, consistent repetitions, settling into your stride and paving yourself out. It’s equivalent to the tortoise in the famous race between the tortoise and the hare…slow & steady wins the race. But then sprint intervals are far more intensive, much faster pace done for shorter periods of time because it’s not really sustainable. At that rate you’ll eventually burn out unless you slow down again to recover and coast a bit. This is like being the hare….feverishly running until you need to stop and rest a bit before continuing on. All this to say a body or life transformation is quite the same. You can either pace yourself out with incremental adjustments and little consistent steps that build up over time, or go all in with a ā€œballs to the wallā€ to-hell-with-the-haters and burn-the-boats almost reckless abandon. Both are good and viable approaches. BOTH CAN WORK. But either way, YOU MUST WORK. There’s no avoiding that fact. I’ve developed systems that can help you either way, you’ve just got to get off the fence and decide which approach you’re going to do…and then COMMIT to do what is necessary…DO WHAT’S REQUIRED. And the good thing is YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE. We can help you along the way.

Sunday night secrets…
I’ve found one of the keys to success is PREPARATION It’s probably no shocker to you…you’ve heard it before…because ultimately IT’S TRUE Preparation is not really ā€œhardā€ in and of itself, it just isn’t very exciting or ā€œsexyā€ (sometimes even boring!), and it takes a bit of mental effort to overcome that initial inertia or resistance But it really is the difference maker So on a Sunday night, as you wind down your weekend and look to the week to come, it’s the perfect time to do just that…prepare Prepare your schedule for the week, hour by hour even Prepare your meals for the week or at least the next few days Prepare your workout outfit/gear & training plan for the entire week, including your strength training, conditioning (cardio) & mobility/flexibility work (stretching) Prepare your mindset including brain entrainment session (brain wave training)…to be discussed more later (to be continuedā€¦šŸ˜‰) Prepare for the times you spend 1-on-1 with your kid(s) or spouse And more… We could go on and on but let’s focus on these core aspects, and remember that it could be done in as few as 6 minutes (my famous approach;), and certainly everything in under 1 hr And it will be SO much more valuable for you than if you bypassed it and didn’t prepare or try to do a half- hearted effort on it during your busy & demanding Monday So go do it! Take a few minutes to prep for the coming week…you won’t regret it!šŸ‘šŸ’ŖšŸš€
