When was the first time you told your daughter “I’m proud of you” or even harder, have you never told her that?

I'm a step-dad to a beautiful 22 year old daughter. The journey raising her had many challenges and during her teens we bumped heads A LOT. Yet, as an adult our relationship has gotten stronger. I'm proud of the young woman of God she is becoming. In May of 2025 I was able to walk her down the isle and hand her off to a wonderful young man. We're all blessed to have him as part of the family now. I'm just glad she still comes to me for advice and help. Out of our 3 children (2 sons and her) she is the most ambitious and entrepreneurial. She's got a lot of creative little business ideas and I always encourage her in them. Glad to be a girl dad and this community sounds like a great place to connect with other dads! - Girl Dad Chad
