🌙 Evening Living List: Monday, October 27th
The jungle’s dimming, and so are the to-dos. The day gave what it gave — maybe not what you planned, but what you handled. And that’s the point. Progress isn’t measured in perfect days. It’s in the quiet moments where you chose grit over quit. 🪶 Drop one thing you’re proud of from today — even if it’s small, even if it’s “I didn’t lose my mind.” Then like and encourage two sisters doing the same. Because in this jungle, we grow stronger when we rest together. #MomJungle #LivingList #EveningReflection #SubtractionForSanity #MomMomentum

I survived another day at work ( hectic teenagers / High School English Teacher) came home and went to park for a walk with husband and dogs ( best part of my day and keeps me sane ) , cooked dinner , sat with teen sons to chat about day , did some work on my Skool group and finally crawled into bed about 9pm .. This week seems long already …
🌞 Morning Living List: Sunday, October 26th
The jungle is quiet this morning — or maybe it’s just catching its breath. Sundays aren’t for sprinting. They’re for taking inventory — of what matters, what’s waiting, and what can finally be laid down. Today, your Living List isn’t about doing. It’s about noticing. Noticing the small victories, the laughter, the moments you didn’t rush past. 🪶 What’s one thing you’re choosing to carry forward today — and one thing you’re leaving behind? Post it below, then like and encourage two sisters. Let’s start Sunday grounded, not guilty. #MomJungle #LivingList #SundaySoul #SubtractionForSanity #MomMomentum

🌿 Morning Accountability Check-In - Oct. 19🌿
Good morning, Jungle Mamas ☀️The coffee’s (mostly) hot, the to-do list is already staring us down — and it’s time to set the tone for the day. Here’s how we’re doing things now:🪶 Drop your daily list right here in the comments — big or small, doesn’t matter.🪶 Check back in tonight to reply to your own comment with what you actually got done. No guilt. No fluff. Just a little momentum stacking — together. Remember: this isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, even when the vines are tangled.Every task done (or even half done) is one less thing weighing on your mind. ✨ Bonus tip: Write your list like a pep talk. “Fold the laundry” sounds dreadful. “Slay Mount Sockmore”? Much better. Alright, Jungle — your move. What’s on today’s survival list? 💪🌿

🌒 Midnight Muse: The Compass and the Storm
Some storms don’t pass — they change your shape. Every mom learns this truth eventually: your morals aren’t proven when life’s calm. They’re tested when the winds pick up, when the rules don’t fit, and when “right” and “realistic” stop shaking hands. Fear doesn’t always roar. Sometimes it hums under the surface, whispering that one more compromise will keep you safe. And sometimes, it’s right — safety is survival. But here’s the hard part no one tells you — being tested doesn’t always make you stronger. Sometimes it just shows you what you actually believe, what you’ll bend for, and what you won’t. Sometimes the storm wins. Yet when the wind finally quiets, and the wreckage settles, you find your compass again — scratched, maybe, but still pointing home. That’s how you know it’s yours. So tonight, if you’re in the storm, hold the wheel. You’re not failing — you’re being revealed. 🌧️☕

@Jenn Locklear we are all like that in our home so it just works, we don't make a lot of unnecessary plans and lead a simple , quiet life.

@Jenn Locklear our home is not quiet , I mean we have two teenage boys but they like to get out and about and play lots of sports so that keeps things on an even keel, sometimes
Chore Chart Sudoku
I was updating my kids chore chart yesterday and was thinking this feels oddly like sudoku. How do you all manage chores?

In our home ( 2 teens /mum and dad) we have clean as you go and all do our own washing plus set daily tasks plus family blitz time when we all work on maintaining home . Boys have set jobs when they get home from school , then showers and chill , I cook dinner , they clean up and we all relax .Its taken years but it mostly works . The life changer is washing we all have our own baskets plus a household towels one and because of this we don’t need to sort . Also have minimal clothes so easier to maintain .
