What is your last frost date historically? For our no frost folks, What is typically your coldest days in the year...

Historically it's April 3. But I get the newsletter from The Old Farmer's Almanac and in one of them, they had an article saying that it was predicted to be about a week earlier than average this year, so I'm preparing with that in mind.
Indoors starts
Who has indoor starts going? What plants do you typically start indoors?

A whole bunch! So far: - chives - garlic chives - cauliflower - broccoli - marjoram - oregano - parsley - 2 types of peas - bell peppers - banana peppers - safe - tomatillos - tomatoes galore - Roma and 4 varieties of larger tomatoes. The 3 strongest seedlings will go in the garden when it's time to transplant them
Seed Storage
I have been spending the evening researching what soil temp is best to direct seed the seeds I have semi-chaotic seed storage. How do you store your seeds? Do you save seeds? Do you buy new seeds each year?

@Jim Flach I might be a little bit OCD.

@Jim Flach the funny thing is that my son is just as bad about the OCD thing as I am, but he is NOT a planner like me. He's also ADHHHHHHHHHD (extra on the hyperactive part).
Spring Oasis Build - Northern Hemisphere, March Equinox
I am patiently watching my soil temp in the hoop house; well maybe not so patiently. With the little heater in there. I was able to keep the ground temp at 46F through the 10F (-12C) weather. The temps will hit 60F (15C) by Monday, truly only a tease but I will pull some mulch back on the planting rows about 6" wide by 24' long making 4 rows in our test bed. With some luck, the soil will near 50 F (10C) so I can plant some daikon radishes on Monday as well as spread some cardboard and mulch to expand another bed. Why daikon radishes you say. I will discuss daikon radish in another post so as not to make this post to long. One of the key principals in working with nature when gardening is to always keep your soil cover 365 days a year. Hopefully the attached with prompt some thought. Let's discuss in the chat what you do, is this a new concept or a concept you have used for years? https://www.skool.com/oasis-builders-8012/classroom/54fca587?md=55dfe6ad8c86485dac7a226e0b468266

I did this past year. I had mulch out and a cover crop. This is going to be my 3rd year gardening. I can’t wait to start prepping the new beds!

@Jim Flach I haven’t before, but I plan on checking them this year.

@Jim Flach good point. Although, that would be more work. My plan was to trim it with gardening shears around the plants I don't want to chop and then use the weed trimmer for the rest.

@Jim Flach it really depends on my energy level when I do it.
