I haven't seen many introductions yet, and this community was built for you to connect, grow, and do business together. So let's fix that. Drop an introduction below. Tell us who you are, what you do, and what you're looking to build. The more you put in, the more you get out. More great people are coming. Make sure they know who you are when they arrive.
Hi, my name is Cerise, glad to be here. I help connect people and solve problems ✨ Started out my career doing that with software products. Now I'm doing the same in the property world, supporting people with increasing their wealth through property investment, and helping companies meet their housing supply needs in the UK. Looking forward to getting to know others in the community and us growing together. Thanks for creating this space for us!
Vincent and I are travelling today, and it got me thinking. A lot of people get into business so they can have this freedom. But when it actually happens, the reality often hits differently. Managing a business on the road is a skill most people are not prepared for. So I want to hear from you: What challenges have you faced when trying to run your business while travelling? And which ones have you managed to crack, and how? Drop your answers below. This could be a genuinely useful thread for the whole community.
Kind of on topic.. spoke to someone I work with today who's visiting home in Africa for a few weeks and cannot use their phone in the same way due to some restrictions in the country. They've just signed up to an VOIP service where they have a UK number they can use to make calls internationally from their laptop and not have the weird international ring when connecting. I currently have my mobile on our website, but ideally, would look to have a landline type number, that myself, or someone else could pick up if I'm not available (not that we get lots of phone calls from the website, but good to be prepared 😄)
