Hi everyone! I’m Celia Kibler, founder of BeABetterParent.com, host of the Be A Better Parent Podcast, parenting coach, speaker, award-winning author, mom of 5, grandma of 9, and a blended family parent for 30+ years. I help parents create calmer homes, stronger relationships, and more respectful kids—without yelling. My audience includes parents of toddlers through teens, as well as families navigating divorce, separation, and blended family life. I’m looking to collaborate with family-focused community owners, coaches, therapists, educators, and podcast hosts through guest trainings, interviews, challenges, summits, and community partnerships. My mission is to help 50 million parents stop yelling and create childhoods children blossom from, not recover from. If we serve similar audiences, let’s connect! ❤️ https://www.skool.com/beabetterparent/classroom/df689235

Are We Raising Kids Who Are Too Fragile? Parent experts and everyone interested are welcome!! Something happened online this week that got me thinking. I commented on a video of a very cute little boy and said something along the lines of: “Be still my heart. What a delicious little boy. I just love this little angel.” It was meant exactly as it sounds—a compliment. The kind of thing many people have said about adorable children for generations. The mother’s only response was: “Remove that word.” I replied, “What word?” She said: “Delicious.” I explained that delicious is often used as an adjective to describe a child who is so adorable, lovable, and snuggle-worthy that your heart just melts. It wasn’t negative, inappropriate, or insulting. Quite the opposite. And it got me wondering… Have we reached a point where we’re searching for offense where none was intended? Are we becoming so sensitive that we’re losing the ability to interpret comments through the lens of kindness, context, and good intentions? More importantly… What are we teaching our children when every uncomfortable word, opinion, misunderstanding, or difference of perspective becomes a problem to correct? Life is full of people who won’t use the exact words we would choose. Life is full of misunderstandings. Life is full of moments where we have to pause, assume positive intent, and decide whether something is actually harmful—or simply different. Are we helping our children build resilience? Or are we unintentionally teaching them to see danger, offense, and hurt where none exists? I’d love to hear your thoughts. 👉 Join me for our Parenting Roundtable 📅 Monday 6/15 at 2:00 PM Eastern 🎙️ Topic: Are We Raising Kids Who Are Too Fragile? Live in my Skool Community https://www.skool.com/beabetterparent/about?ref=f798d3fd17924db88be9fc87b0784c1e We’ll have a respectful conversation about resilience, emotional intelligence, sensitivity, boundaries, intent, and what children really need to thrive in today’s world.
Want a Summit Debrief?
Ever wonder about the inter-workings/ behind the scenes of a summit? @Lara Sloan and I just wrapped up The Coaching Evolution Summit and it was incredible. Over 30 live speakers and 4 days as well as over 10 recorded presenters, plus nearly 30 pre-interviews, a 3-day media tour and more... So after we take a moment to recover - would anyone want to hop on a call where Lara and I give a summit debrief? PS - Also the recordings are up for 1 more day - be sure to check them out or grab the all access pass before it goes up Monday night. https://www.skool.com/coaches-life-lab/

🎤 Speakers Wanted — Coaching Evolution Summit (June 4–7)
SPEAKER APPLICATIONS CLOSED 👉 REGISTER AS AN ATTENDEE We are closing applications this weekend and I want to make sure the right people don't miss this. There have been a few questions that we want to address First This summit is NOT JUST about business strategy or how to get more clients. It's a much bigger conversation about what it means to BE a coach right now in every dimension of that. We're looking for speakers across four areas and here's the key: you don't have to be a coach yourself. You just need to have a message that serves coaches in one of these areas: 🧠 BEING a Coach Do you help people with identity, alignment, values, presence, or the inner game of leadership? If you can apply your message to help coaches answer "Who am I as a coach and how do I show up fully for my clients?" — we want you. 🎯 The CRAFT of Coaching Do you help people create deeper transformation, refine their methodology, or master the art of what happens in the room with clients? If your work helps coaches become better at the actual craft of coaching — we want you. 📈 The BUSINESS of Coaching Do you help people build sustainable practices, grow their visibility, design offers, or create consistent revenue? If you can help coaches make their practice work long term without burning out we want you. 🤖 AI for Coaches Are you actively integrating AI into your practice, your content, or your client work? Do you have a clear perspective on where coaching is headed and how AI fits in? If you're doing the work and can speak to it with clarity we want you. If you have a clear perspective, you're actively doing the work, and your message serves coaches in any of these areas — apply below. We'd love to hear from you. 👉 Apply to speak here: https://summit.coacheslifelab.com/speaker-application If you have already applied, we will be reaching out next week with more information.
