Anyone else writing anything horror-related?

I'm finishing up some critiques on student papers today. This is such a great reminder that being a participating citizen in a writing community makes me a better writer! Giving back by reading someone else's work... a friend, a student, a new member of a group... doesn't just give them feedback, it helps me to really think about writing, the process, and how particular words make me respond. I think it's so cool that writing is such an act of love, no matter what stage you're in.

I have an entire day to write while I wait for my car to be worked on and I’ve already managed to procrastinate two hours away lol 😏 Sometimes the hardest thing to do is pick a project for writing time. What’re you all working on? I should be working on my horror novel but I’ve been having fun with prompts lately.
