TOPIC: THE PRESENCE OF GOD TODAY'S SCRIPTURE “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8 (NKJV) TODAY'S WORD His Presence responds to pursuit. James says proximity is responsive: draw near and He draws near. Drawing near is not a religious movement; it is inner alignment. You draw near when: - you repent quickly, - you honor truth more than reputation, - you stay faithful even when nobody watches, - you forgive consistently, - you put Scripture in your mouth. His Presence requires honesty. God can handle your questions, but He cannot tolerate double-minded worship. If you want His presence, stop hiding behind religious language. Presence grows where there is: - purity of heart, - obedience of life, - sincerity of motives. EXAMPLES - The woman with the alabaster jar approached Jesus with worship and costly surrender. - Zacchaeus climbed a tree, but what he really wanted was transformation—and he received His Presence. PRAYER FOR TODAY Father, I draw near to You. Clean my heart. Purify my motives. Make my worship honest. Teach me to obey You even when it costs me. Draw near to me and maintain Your fellowship with me today. In Jesus’ name. Amen. MY DECLARATIONS I draw near to God with sincerity. God draws near to me. My heart is pure; my motives are aligned. I obey quickly. His presence strengthens my life. PROPHETIC DECLARATION - You will experience divine nearness—like your spirit is “being met.” - Hidden issues will be exposed and healed. - Worship will shift from routine to revelation. - God will instruct you clearly and timely today. JESUS CHRIST IS LORD
