💪🏽 Strength in Weakness ❤️🩹
These past few weeks have been rough to say the least. After navigating a family loss, teaching at our Churches Co-Op, facilitating our recent event, leading W.O.O.T. Group, and juggling health and home, I found myself drained spiritually and naturally. For a fleeting moment, my soul whispered 'quit.' I knew at that moment I had to do something… Me being the “strong friend”, I’m usually checking on folks and I struggled to ask for help. So I took a step back, rended my heart and reconnected to the Source of my strength, Jesus! I realized I was trying to do things in my own power. I took a break and allowed myself to breathe, rest, and reflect. A powerful word at church resonated deeply - “Don’t grow weary in your well doing.” It was a reminder that my strength lies not in self-sufficiency, but in His ever-present help. I began to reflect on Gods promises… He won’t put more on me than I can bear! His yoke is easy and his burden is light! His Grace is sufficient! His Strength is made perfect in my weakness! The Joy of the Lord is my Strength! Jesus is my firm foundation. When everything around me feels like chaos, He is my calm in the storm. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

As I was reading your post I was reminded of Mary and Martha that my Apostle was preaching on last week.. Because In this Christian walk we can become so excited to do so much for the Lord that any of us if we are not careful we can be overtaken by so much that we are doing from work, school, family, friends and must of all doing work for the Lord and the list goes on .. But sometimes we can neglect that time as Martha was doing she was so anxious about much to the point she was upset because her sister wasn't helping her.. Mary had choose the most important thing not to say we are not to serve, but we all must be careful we don't pick up what he didn't call us to bare at that moment, and make sure we hear his directions and stay at his feet/presence so we are not overwhelmed by much.. This is something I'm still learning. Because we are ever learning, But I'm learning the more I'm at his feet that's where I learn and I am strengthen to be the woman of God his called me to be.. Now I seek him even the more because I've learned not being at his feet the cares of this life can take you out and overwhelm you to the point you'll want to give up but one thing I've learned when you have the desire to want to be kept he will keep you and give you the strength to go on not by power nor by might but by his spirit we are able to endure to the end.. A Heavy Heart ❤️🩹 🙏🏼
As I bring myself to Gods throne tonight, my heart is heavy. It breaks for humanity right now. I’m experiencing emotions I must give to God and trust He will work things out. I can’t allow sadness or anger or fear to consume me. That’s what the enemy wants. What I will do is continue to trust that God will do what He said He will do. I will believe and stand on His promises that say no weapon formed against me shall prosper. That He will never leave me nor forsake me. I trust that vengeance is Gods. Our job is to pray fervently with faith. I won’t pretend like I understand the why’s and how’s but I must remember that God is just and fair, loving and faithful. He will finish what he started. One day, those who endure until the end will be free from pain and sorrow and death. Until then, let’s continue to pray Gods will be done. #wordofourtestimony

Praying for you my sister ❣️.. Just to share something the Lord has been reminded of and teaching me in a greater way that it's not by might nor by power but by my spirit saith the Lord, has helped me so much to not rely on my own abilities, but it's the holy Spirit I call on. I've had to face some heavy things these past weeks but every time I call on the holy Spirit Jesus strengthens me again. No it's not always easy, but I am reminded to trust in the Lord and to not lean on my own understandings and to acknowledgment him in all of my ways and he direct my path.. On yesterday morning as I was praying all I can hear was pray without ceasing, pray without ceasing over and over again.. And I can say that I have been seeing the manifestations of my prayers in the lives of my family and sisters lives.. This is why I will continue to pray because I know that prayer works and the Lord hears our cries.. I've learned in my walk with the Lord I won't understand everything and we learn in part it's ok if I don't have all the answers because one thing I know for sure he'll never leave me and his got my back through it all.. 👏🏼👏🏼❣️🙌🏼
