27th of Mordad is the birthday of the immortal Mohsen Mohammadpour. A young worker who, in Aban 98, was only 17 years old, was killed by the Islamic Republic. Mohsen used to build structures after school. The day before his death, he had told his relatives that he wanted to go out tomorrow to protest. On the day of the tragedy, he was just standing on the street near their house when suddenly it became crowded, and the agents attacked him with batons and severely beat Mohsen, causing him to fall to the ground and again they did not let him go and tried to hit him with a baton as much as they could and sucked his blood. The people were frightened and no one came forward to help; until a woman and her daughter came and asked for help from the people, but no one stepped forward to help. The woman lifted Mohsen and put him on her back and took him to the side of the street to take him to the hospital. His mother held a ceremony at home every day and offered a prayer for his child to open his eyes again and come to his senses, and that same happy and brave Mohsen would return home. He had been hospitalized for eleven days and apparently was in a coma. On the afternoon of the tenth day that Mohsen was in a coma, the hospital called and said, "Your son has passed away..." به گزارش منابع حقوق بشری، مجتبی مقیسه، زندانی سیاسی، پس از پایان دوران حبس خود از زندان وکیل‌آباد مشهد آزاد و برای اجرای حکم یک سال تبعید به شهرستان خور و بیابانک اعزام شده است. مجتبی مقیسه روز شنبه ۲۴ مردادماه، پس از آزادی از زندان، برای اجرای حکم تبعید به شهرستان خور و بیابانک منتقل شد. او مردادماه ۱۴۰۴ توسط نیروهای امنیتی در منزل شخصی خود در سبزوار بازداشت شده بود و در اواخر سال ۱۴۰۳ نیز توسط شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب سبزوار به اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام» به هفت ماه و ۱۵ روز حبس و یک سال تبعید محکوم شده بود. حکم صادرشده علیه مجتبی مقیسه در اردیبهشت‌ماه ۱۴۰۵ توسط دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان خراسان رضوی عینا تأیید شد. بخش دیگری از پرونده او نیز با اتهام «توهین به مقدسات» در شعبه ۱۰۳ دادگاه کیفری شهرستان سبزوار همچنان در دست بررسی است؛ اتهامی که جزئیات و مستندات روشنی درباره آن منتشر نشده است. مجتبی مقیسه از بازداشت‌شدگان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۱ در سبزوار است و پیش از این نیز به‌دلیل فعالیت‌های مدنی خود سابقه بازداشت و محکومیت داشته است. اما فشارهای امنیتی و قضایی علیه خانواده مقیسه به مجتبی محدود نمی‌شود؛ دو برادر او، مسعود و مهرداد مقیسه نیز به‌دلیل فعالیت‌های مدنی و با اتهاماتی بی‌اساس در زندان به‌سر می‌برند. مسعود مقیسه، که پیشتر در جریان اعتراضات ۱۴۰۱ به‌عنوان زندانی سیاسی بازداشت و محکوم شده بود، نیز در مقطعی توسط نیروهای امنیتی در سبزوار بازداشت شد؛ همزمان، مهرداد مقیسه نیز در زندان به‌سر می‌برد. به این ترتیب، هر سه برادر مقیسه در سال‌های اخیر به‌دلیل فعالیت‌های مدنی و اعتراضات خود با بازداشت، پرونده قضایی، حبس و محدودیت‌های امنیتی مواجه شده‌اند. این احکام نمونه‌ای از تداوم فشار بر فعالان مدنی و خانواده‌هایی است که اعضای آن به‌دلیل اعتراض یا فعالیت‌های مدنی با برخوردهای امنیتی و قضایی مواجه شده‌اند؛ روندی که در آن حتی پایان دوران محکومیت زندان نیز لزوما به معنای پایان محدودیت‌ها و فشارهای قضایی نیست. #نه_به_جمهوری_اسلامی According to human rights sources, political prisoner Mojtaba Moghiseh has been released from Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad after completing his prison term and sent to Khor and Biabanak County to serve his one-year exile sentence. Hengaw – Wednesday, August 19, 2026 Soheil Arabi, a Kurdish blogger, political activist, and former political prisoner from Bijar residing in Tehran, has been sentenced to five years in prison and a two-year ban on social media activity by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari. According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the sentence was issued on Sunday, August 16, 2026, and formally communicated to Arabi following a trial held on Monday, August 10. Arabi received five years in prison for “assembly and collusion with intent to commit a crime against national security,” along with a two-year supplementary ban on “employment, profession, or specific work related to the offense,” referring to social media activity. Security forces arrested Arabi in Tehran in March 2026 and transferred him to Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj. While held in solitary confinement, he was subjected to severe beatings and torture by interrogators. His injuries required treatment at a hospital outside the prison, after which he was returned to solitary confinement. Arabi was previously sentenced to death in 2014 over his media activities. The sentence was later overturned following international and human rights pressure.

Hengaw – Monday, August 17, 2026 Iranian security forces have arrested Matin Rasouli and Hadi Khezri, two Kurdish men from Piranshahr and Oshnavieh (Shno), respectively. Both remain incommunicado, with no information available about their current condition. According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Rasouli was arrested in Piranshahr on Sunday, August 16, 2026, and taken to an undisclosed location. Khezri, 27, from Haq village in Oshnavieh, was detained by Intelligence Department forces on the evening of Saturday, August 15, while returning home. He was arrested on a street in the city without a warrant and transferred to a security detention facility in Urmia. Both men have been denied access to a lawyer, family visits, and phone calls, while their families’ efforts to obtain information about them have so far been unsuccessful.
