Thanks for the add. I homestead (27 chickens and fruit/nut trees) in a semi-arid desert with sandy alkaline soil. (I know it's an uphill battle) One day, I hope to produce/raise 50-75% of my own food (including honey) without having to resort to synthetic chemicals (i.e. pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.) Go microbes! Thanks for creating this learning community. I can't wait to see all the progress a year from now.
