PM Power Habit of the Week
High-performing PMs don’t rely on luck — they rely on habits. Whether it’s a daily stand-up, reflection journal, or end-of-day recap, the small things compound. 💬 What’s one habit that keeps you on top of your projects (and your peace)? 🔖 #ProjectMentorPro #PMHabits #LeadershipDevelopment

Most leaders do not have the time in their schedules to always read thru your meeting agenda/notes. Therefore to earn brownie points with your stakeholders, offer the first 5 mins of the meeting as a "time to get caught up". Direct everyone to review the minutes/meeting agenda during this silent reading moment. This will ensure everyone has the necessary details to start the meeting off aligned to your objective. Try it and post your team's reaction. I would love to receive your feedback!

Defining Your PM North Star

For me, my North Star is to bridge the gap between credentials and real-world experience. I’ve seen so many talented professionals earn their certifications—only to face rejection because they “lack experience.” That gap became my mission to close. Over the next 90 days, my personal goal is to expand ProjectMentor Pro’s reach through new partnerships that help aspiring PMs not only learn project management—but live it. Because when access meets opportunity, careers and communities grow. 🌟

My story is a little different than most. I feel like Project Management chose me! In 2016, I received a phone call from a recruiter who saw my resume on CareerBuilder or Monster and asked me if I would be interested in interviewing for a Jr. PM role at Snyder's Lance. At that time I had never heard of project management before and really thought I was being pranked. The short version is I went to the interview, the offer was made and I started my journey 3 weeks later. Almost 10 years later the rest is history!
